I think this might be one of my favourite character demos of all time. I especially like the detail where she pretends to be/acts as the other archons as she swings on the swing (by the color of the light, and the outfits of the audience members)

I really love how Furina imitates archons in her demo (5:18) Swinging like Nahida Having a lyre like Venti Sitting like Raiden And throwing mora as Zhongli

The part at the end of her demo is so good, there's all these small things like Childe flying across the screen to drop kick a guy, Neuvillette kneeing someone in the balls??? Lyney and Lynette beating up that poor man on the floor. Its so goofy I love it. Massive tonal whiplash between these two trailers its great.

Furina imitating the other Archons while swinging is such a mood😆

a lot of people notice Furina imitating the Archons as she swings, but I've seen a few others point out that the seemingly random "movie clips" that Furina waltzes through actually imitate different parts of the previous archon quests. Childe chased by the melusine - Childe and Traveller being chased by the Milleleth Neuvillette being arrested by Navia - Signora when she was taking Venti's gnosis Chlorinde facing off Wriothesley - the duel at the Tenshukaku Lyney trapped inside the water cage - Nahida trapped in the Sanctuary of Surasthana and right after that is Furina trying to get Freminet's helmet off his head. We never see his face, only Furina, the helmet, and water. Which directly parallels what we know so far from the 4.2 Archon Quest trailer. personally thinking, a very strange thing to include in a character demo, almost as if HoYo is hinting that Furina is well aware about the events occurring in other nations.

Neuvilette kicking a guy in the balls was the last thing I expected him to do, especially in Furina's demo

For the demo, highly recommend you slow down on the whole chaos scene to see the tits bit detail. It is very cute

Its so funny she is playing rock scissors paper with the crab summon but the crab can only show scissors because of his claws and furina always wins

It's wild how we went from ominous teaser to chaotic fever dream demo. 😂 Also a few details I liked: - I like the mirror part at the start. The first few parts of the teaser, Furina is "flipped"; you could see that her multicolored eyes are switched. Like she's talking to a mirror or lens. (Until the mirror break part where she gets the dog's monocle.) - Furina referenced the other four Archons in her demo. ❤ - I might be overthinking it, but there's no audience at the end of her demo performance... There's no applause in the end... Just her and her water friends. :(

We need a Venti and Furina duet performance now. Music and theatre arts

Focalors was way beyond anything they've made. And if anything this I think cements my confidence in the music team after Yu Peng Chen. Like yeah he was a god of music, but it does seem to turn out that they have quite a bunch of music gods among them, and a very clear and wonderful music direction for the game.

Among the Archons that appeared, Furina impressed me with her cuteness and dynamism, I love this aspect of her

As a french people, the fact that the lyrics of the song at the end of the demo were in french is just so cool !

furinas character teaser made me cry when she was hugging the dog and she said "you're the only one i have left.." that hit me so hard

Guys, I just noticed. When Furina is showing herself to the public her vision is replaced with a gemstone and when she is alone, her vision is visible. It might imply that she'll still hide some stuff after the 4.2 Archon quest & maybe also her story quest to the public. You might debunk it to when Chlorinde was by her side when she was fighting but if you look closely, Her fight scenes is a different scene to when she was with Chlorinde. She was wearing a gemstone when she was with Chlorinde and When she's not with her she makes the vision visible when fighting alone. This is only a theory so please kindly reply to me to share your opinion on the matter not throw shade.

Aside from what everyone said about the swing representing the archons and the regions, or how the scenes of reversed rolls represents the archon quests, but theres also a bit of a haunting undertone in the Demo which is really subtle that someone pointed out where at the end, when the play ends and the curtain closed, there was no cheers or claps, which may hint about something.

Watching Furina Demo right after the Teaser is the biggest mood change

I keep repeating the vocal part of the music IT WAS SO GOOD! Gonna learn how to sing it. Hoyo I NEED a duet between furina and venti. PLEASE.

Raiden’s, Nahida’s and now Furina’s teasers are truly amazing. They are all so sad and meaningful. And they also have the 3 best demo’s IMO.

I saw a comment on her demo saying that each scene on the swing represents an archon. First Nahida where she swings childlike Then Mondstadt with the lyre Inazuma when she meditates Liyue when she throws mora

First time I really want a 5⭐️ weapon, Furina needs it for her show 💪

Hands down this is the best demo they've put out, they're really showing off how fun Furina is as a character which I adore. Especially the detail of jer rigging rock paper scissors with Mademoiselle Crabaletta, the crab getting pissed was so funny

Haven't finished video yet but Furina's bit at the end of her teaser about "only fate" just pinged something in my brain that Moon Carver said way back when he was sending us off to find the other Adepti during the Liyue archon quest where he says that "only fate" would determine if we'd find them or something to that effect. Now I want to know how intentional the use of that verbage was way back then!

I love the contrast between the demo and the teaser, emotionally they can't be more different. To be fair I will play the Archon quest as soon as it drops just to know what happen with this Queen

I noticed that Furina was her "Focalor-like" self for the majority of the teaser, where her mouth wasn't even moving. Until the very end, when you notice her outfit colour changes and her hair is short, and she's alone, not on a stage, but thinking to herself.

I think there's story implications in the demo as well, they're just more subtle. Seems to really be suggesting that everything we're seeing in Fontaine is one big performance (by hydro eidolons is my guess, like the bottleland event)

The teaser and the demo are literal polar opposite, it reminds me of the Barbenheimer meme a while ago for some reason.

What I love about Furina is that everything about her represents duality. Hell, her entire demo exhibits duality. The characters act the opposite of the parts that they _should_ play; Neuv who is a judge now becomes a criminal, Clorinde is the one protected by Furina instead of the other way around, Lyney’s the assistant while Lynette’s the great magician, etc. Also, she constantly switches from her ousia and pneuma form; her pneuma form is when she’s posing for the cameras playing this “facade” while her ousia form is when she’s just being herself and genuinely living her life.

Yo bran, see if you can pinpoint some important events from our past adventures in Furina's demo and how Fontainians acted them out for her lmao. Also, the other archons too. Lol her demo was so fun! But the Trailer is a lore dump wow!

idk if somebody already said this but i just realized something: short hair/black vest furina is not interchangeable with long hair/white vest furina. - in the teaser, she's in white and "speaking" to us directly up until the last scene with her crying (...performing for "fate?") as her voice grows fainter. - in the demo, she's in black, performing in front of the camera, until that jazzy transition halfway through. after that she's in white directing. - the thing i find most confusing about this is that short hair/black vest furina seems to fit more with the side of her we know than long hair/white vest furina...

This really felt more like a prophecy. It’s as if Furina saw everything that was going to happen. I mean how did she know about the more private events in other nations happened? Maybe Lyney WAS supposed to be the one to get crushed? Maybe it only looks like Furina does nothing, because she already influenced change before the events happened? And she’s only been acting this whole time?
