An utmost ambiguous piece. It stirs up emotions of melancholy, sheer sadness, yet also has a tinge of optimism and curiosity. The wonderful trait of classical music, or one of many, is the fact that one can perceive a piece whichever way they wish.

I'm from Argentina, and I go to Brazil almost every year. When I hear a piece made by Satie, I don't think of Paris or any city of Europe, I think about Brazil! I don't know why, but the Gnossiens, the Gymnopédies and the Sonatine Bureaucratique bring to me the images of rainfall in the morros and the beach at night. It's pretty sad that because of Corona, I'm probably not going to Brazil for a while, so at least I can hear this beautiful piece to remember. Great job, Lord!

The music conveys a sense of loneliness, perfect for this time of self-isolation, and Vinheteiro reinforces the sense of loneliness by not staring at us. Then at the very end, he graces us with a brief glance, and we feel a sliver of hope that there will come a time in the future when we can gather again and feel less alone.

Satie e Debussy são os compositores mais underated que existem, obras perfeitas, sem firulas, apenas boa música relaxante que agrada aos sentidos.

This is the only piece I can play perfectly. See? I'm only an inch less experienced than Lord Vinheteiro (((:

The good thing about some of Satie's pieces is that if you make a mistake few people will notice. I once had to play this piece on short notice in front of actual virtuoso pianists, and I am no virtuoso myself. I did okay, but they liked my joke better.
