I was thinking the same thing. But if you follow the measurement guidelines, you can see that Levi’s 34x30 isn’t in inches either. I always believed I was a 34 inch waist, but that’s not correct either. Many of my Levi’s is a true 37”

@@qltyboots ya I guess I assumed 34 would mean 34”, but even Selvedge brands don’t align size with inches. But at least the size is consistent across brands. When I’ve bought other pants brands 34 has always worked.

They both will fade nicely. The Iron Heart fits me better than Brave Star. The Iron heart also have hidden rivets and raised belt loops. But you get a much better price on the Brave Star. Overall you could buy two pairs of Brave Star instead of Iron Heart. It is jeans by the end of the day, and you get great value with Brave Star

@@Qltydenim I don't mind slow faders. Just gonna enjoy this pair as my daily drivers. Ironhearts are my grail pair. Been wanting them for a few years now. Mine should be in this week. The waist on them from the sites measurements would fit me perfectly. How much did yours shrink after a pre soak?
