Brave Woman Risks Her Life To Save A Kitten Stuck On A Highway
A woman in Bulgaria saw a newborn kitten on the highway while she was driving. She immediately stopped the car and tried to save the little kitten. The other drivers didn't care or didn't see the kitten and almost ran it over, the kitten was incredibly lucky the woman came in time to save the little one's life. The kitten was so small it was still blind, we don't know how it got on the highway but we are glad the kitten was saved and good people still exist out there.

We are Stoyan and Dessy from Bulgaria. We are not organization, neither a shelter, we are just an ordinary couple with a big dream. Everything we provide for the stray animals is coming from our own pockets or with the help of donations from our subscribers. We have 4 cats at home, all rescued from the streets - Sopolcho & Bagheera live with us while Alexa & Rijo live with Dessy's mom, who has been feeding and caring of stray animals for the last 10 years. Bulgaria is a small and poor country with lots of stray cats and not enough kind people to take them in. Our dream is to build a shelter where we could take care of many stray cats with the help of Dessy's mom. My heart jumped and skipped a beat every time a car whizzed past and about stopped at the sight of the truck! Angel working overtime keeping the poor kitten safe until the kind lady could reach him! So happy to see the baby was completely unhurt! That was an awesome rescue!

My guess is they obviously did not want it and I wouldn't be surprised if it was thrown out of a car. If this is the case I hope KARMA comes big time to the person who did this.

Poor baby must’ve been dumped for it to be on such a busy road. Thank goodness for this wonderful lady noticing the tiny kitten and rescuing it.

I would think that the mother cat was moving them and dropped them. A human could have found much easier place to dump a kitten.

@@phillipwiles5581 Unfortunately sadistic people throw away kittens from moving cars. It happens in my country too, sometimes there are people who witness the event of them doing it. I have seen dead kittens on a road few times, and in the middle of nowhere on a busy street, so you can bet someone throw them away. My own cat was probably thrown away on the street, when barely a month old and with crust on his eyes so he couldn't see, he managed to cross three lines of a very busy road, luckily my boyfriend heard him crying and saw him crossing the street, so he stopped his car and saved him. We called him Lucky.

The shaking in the voice shows just how real the emotion is (I ran down a busy interstate in Las Vegas to move a cat that had been hit and watched it get hit again before I could make it in time and the screaming that left my body was so loud, and how badly I was shaking after I moved it... pure fear, anger, horror. The shakiness is fear and adrenaline. I am so glad the kitten made it. The force of all those cars passing was making it tumble and roll, that's terrifying, but it is so lucky it wasn't hit.

That's so traumatizing, I'm sorry this happened to you. I have a horrible memory of stopping to help a turtle, only to watch someone run right over it. I'm always hypervigilant about watching the road and roadside for animals when I'm driving.

@@WaiferThyme She said first once she grabbed the kitty "of my god what's going on here" and then she repeated in three different ways soothing words to the kitten calling it a word that can only be translated as child but it's a word you call not just any child but your own one only. It was so heartwarming hearing it.

I did this once. I was so afraid she'd get hit before I could get to her. My sister adopted that baby and named her Angel. She had her for 18 years before sadly we lost Angel. But she was one loved and spoiled kitty while she was here.

The only thing I can think was the mother was carrying her litter to A new location, dropped the little one, And was to scared to go back. Eyes still closed he can't be A week old yet, brave yes💯 you two look after yourselfs ❤️👏❤️🧡💛

In my opinion the mom must have tried to pass through the road and got scared by cars and dropped the kitten. People don't go to such lengths as to drive over to motorways to drop a kitten.

I held my breath until that kitten was in her hands. I really didn't think that kitten would survive I'm so glad she did. That poor girl was shaking so bad I hope she recovered from that experience and the kitten is fine. That was so scary.

My goodness it felt like I was nearly having a heart attack just watching that, I can't imagine what it must have been like for the kitten and the woman! Boy, you could tell how much she cared to the safety of the kitten. I hope she knows how much her action that day is loved around the world!! How did that little kitten get in the road? Unbelievable. No one made any effort to avoid the kitty or apparently the person, either. It was dumb luck it wasn't squashed before its rescuer got there or the rescuer hit by a car. Sad how many people just don't care.
