This book should be must for all High schoolers in india - from 7th - 10 th grade - before they go to college

I wish u should've mentioned about oriya kings like Langula Narasimha Deva who built konark sun temple and his father Anang bhima Deva . The kings who fought offensive wars against the Turks rather than defensive wars .

Rudramma went by the name "Rudradeva Maharaja". This is how she married her husband (condition laid out for the marriage: whichever suitor defeats her in Duel will become her husband). She died on the saddle fighting one of her feudatories (at 83(?)). She was succeeded by her grandson Prataparudra ( born out of the union of her daughter and one of her opponents Mahadeva). One of her titles was Rayagaja Kesari( the Lion who hunts the elephants( that are the other kings). Thanks, Vikram ji for penning this work.

I am from Ujjain and live in Indore. Humare yaha ahilyabai ko Devi ki upadhi di hai because unhone bhut sare kaam kiye hai jese girl education, women employment through employment, she stood against sati pratha as well and built temples, dharmshala's and ghats on the rivers for the safety and comfort our people. Thankyou Vikram Sir for adding her contributions and spreading the knowledge.

18.44 Sadly last year in Maharashtra two parties faught during Ahilyadevis Jayanti function at her native village. Casteist slurs were apparently exchanged.

Great work, I hope the "muja-hindus" get the point of diversity and stop forcing things like vegetarianism. It has become like diwali cracker analogy for me: just because it is banned, I want to crack them; similarly because someone is forcing veggies, I want to oppose them.

Very true that Bhakti was a great social reform tool. Bhakti movement found a way to not throw the baby with the bath water (the baby being spirituality and bath water being caste discrimination).

It was caste system who created maximum resistance to all foreign invasion of Mohhamdenism and Christianity as being out of that caste was very difficult and caste was pride of man. Every caste was equal but resistant in the form to make India win over . Now we have to go the way of Spain.

Hinduism is like a tent where a large variety of practices are included a dictionary has many words but each separate word is integral part of dictionary there is a connection between them so don’t fall prey to the forces that want to break our revered religion the vedas form the root of the thee which has many branches leaves fruits and such Hindus are not exclusively vegetarian the Vedic people were fish eaters bliving along river banks

Malik Kafur was castrated and was sent to conquer the south by Alauddin khilji. He accomplished it by defeating all 4 dynasties beyond Narmada and destroying many temples in his way. He tried to be the puppet master after the death of his master and was eventually murdered.

One thing I observed is that the guests who come to Charvaka podcast when in other podcast channels are more enthusiastic and charged than here. I guess it's due to Kushal's poker face with no expressions and working on moderation or whatever thing on his computer while the guest is speaking. It makes the interactions very dull.
