Thank you for this tutorial. Even though I thought I had the squares lined up the pattern wasn't matching and that was frustrating. But I discovered something I don't think you mentioned in the video (maybe I just missed it). Under Canvas, you can go to Edit Drawing Guide. Tap Symmetry and then tap Options below. Select Quadrant so you'll get both vert and horizontal guides. The squares won't snap to them (like they used to do in PS) but these gold lines show up telling you that you're aligned with them. My second attempt worked out great.

I want to say thank you SO much. I've always been intimidated to make patterns and you made it easy to learn, simple, and didn't over-complicate it. This helped me a ton and I'm going to be able to do so much more with my illustration work this way!!

Thank you for this tutorial! I usually do my patterns on Photoshop even if I draw them first on Procreate but now I could just do the whole thing in Procreate. Wonderful. :)

Thanks so much for this! I learned how to do patterns in photoshop, but I’m purely procreate based now, so this helped immensely! Also that tapping trick to move the layer just a teeny tiny bit? Had no clue 🤯

I do not know how much I should thank you. This is the first pattern video that actually worked for me. I tried the tiling method with save and load which din't work, the snapping above below and other areas also didn't work. Yours did. Yayyy
