Just to clarify, I wouldn't consider Zooba or Smash Legends a Copy Cat game. Just them being inspired by Brawl and of course other games. Much like brawl stars being inspired by other games as well. I wanted to show these games on a spectrum to show the differences :D I think Zooba and Smash Legends are great examples of games that did it right & have themselves a very unique & fun game! :)

I tried that zoo battle a few months ago, and it’s not bad. (Reason why I quit is that some maxed players drop trophies intentionally to wreck the new players)

I’m surprised you didn’t comment on SuperCat’s trophy road. You get cats with the exact same mechanics and at the exact same trophy amount as you do on Brawl Stars! Edit: Just redownloaded it and the replaced the trophy road with an “adventure road” The cats are still the same, and they are unlocked in a very similar order. I still find it incredible that not a single cat is not completely ripped from Brawl Stars.

i used to play smash legends and its also on pc so its a bit different than most mobile games. i didnt like playing it cause there was a 1v1 game mode that i always played but certain characters are just extremely hard to fight against mostly long-range characters. my idea was to make the jump invincibility frames or at least make it so that knockback doesnt happen in the air or add a dodge mechanic. i havent played it in a while so idk if anything to the base game changed

You know what it is, in the game industries game idea's will inspire others all the time. The best example is the battle pas from fortnite which almost every single popular game now has. Remember that not everything gets copied tho, colored joysticks makes sense to get more life into your game (an undercolored game doesnt feel as special and you won't recognise it as fast) the colors red and blue make sense since red is a bloody color which fits perfectly with the attac button and blue is the opposite of red. Everything that is shiny, is important and feels special to us (think of the brawlpass and the super button which are both gold, or the masters rank in powerleague). Those kind of things won't always be copied on purpose, but are just used since it makes sense. Its all game theory!! ❤ the vids dude, keep it up.

i do agree that zooba took some little inspiration from brawl stars but its definetly not a rip-off. i played that game alot and i actually enjoy it more than brawl stars because the physics and all are kinda better. still brawl stars will remain better in my opinion even tho i prefer playing zooba

I’ve played both Zooba and Smash Legends before. I enjoyed both of the games but I eventually uninstalled them. For Zooba I kinda got bored and started to hate waiting for hours just to open a box. Then for Smash Legends, the matchmaking just did me dirty tbh. I would have some alright matches then BOOM out of nowhere, I would get matched with ppl who had way more experienced than me, it had me and my teammates looking like it’s our first time ever playing. Then I would have matches like that back to back then eventually get matched with ppl at my lvl, it got very annoying😭

I remember playing super cats about a month before brawlstars was publicly released and unironically thinking that brawl stars copied super cats because I haven't heard of anything brawl stars related prior to it being released without considering that there was a public beta or anything.

Liked the video. But for real, the person(s) who made BS in Roblox - Legends. I still go back at times to watch OJ playing it because it's funny but also awesome because of Roblox's physics. Would love to see you do a video on it as well! You'd definitely have fun with it hhhhh. I used to play Smash Legends as well for a while when it had just come out. But tbh, it felt a bit more one-sided. It was like, if Colt's bullets could stop you in your tracks, you'd be a vegetable the moment you're caught in his range. That's what sat really bad with me in the form of the character Hook I believe. She could be taken down, but not easily. And with tanks on her side, just forget the game. It was almost for certain that unless the players sucked, you would definitely lose the game. And even if they sucked, you'd still not win with as huge a margin unless both teams had that character with one of them being superior. But it was fun for sure. BS+SSB, exactly as you said is what came to my mind whrn I signed up for the pre-launch thing. Not sure if that has been fixed, but with the tight sched, BS is about all I have the energy & willingness for rn. But to anyone willing to jump outta thw BS universe, Smash Legends could be quite a welcome option imo.

I particularly LOVE these "copy cat" games. Mobile 3v3 games are my favorite style of mobile games. Zooba i played for a while and got tired of how unbalanced it is. Fun but very unbalanced and you end up only playing one character

Zooba and Smash Legends definitely are not copies of Brawl Stars. I haven't played them myself but based on what I've seen of them, they are more inspired by games like Fortnite and League Of Legends with sprinkles of Brawl Stars inspiration.

Hey Rey I have a starpower idea for frank (I can’t make it but I can give my idea to you ) Frank attacks 2 times faster it is needet for him gues like 90% of players move while attacking and it will help frank to be in multible gamemodes choice (maybe it will reduce the amo reloading speed but it is worth taking the risk)

I am impressed how smash legends evolved!! I played it a long time ago and it was nearly identical to brawl stars... mostly the interface though. I appreciate how it's becoming it's own thing and I might even give it a shot again.

As someone that sometimes still plays zooba, it’s not a brawl stars copy. Just a generic battle royal game, the only thing I could see zooba copying is the beginning thing u start with, other then that it has other unique things like passive abilities and items that buff ur characters like making them walk faster when they walk out of bushes or making their bomb split into three, my problem with the game is that it’s a cash grab, they sorta fixed it like a week ago but u used to have to pay 20 dollars for a new character and that’s being generous, also if your 1-2 levels lower then someone it’s VERY noticeable, unlike brawl stars where I think lvl 1 brawl stars is possible but hard, I think lvl 1 zooba is basically impossible also about me saying they fixed the p2w thing, well I’m pretty sure it’s just a better tactic for them to make money because they realised that making the payable stuff cheaper would probably make more people want to buy.
