Sorry, I made a mistake: I was referring to the Por. vs. Hol. game in W. Cup 2006. Actually I am a Holland fan, and to this day I can't swallow the fact that they lost 74 and 78 finals. But to be fair to Brasilians in their game against Hol.; at least one Hol. player deserved to be sent off: Rep after checking that nobody is watching him, punched Rivelino in the face. I laughed when I saw it, but I,m not sure I would still be laughing if I was the one receiving the punch!!

Few players had the skills of Rivelino by that time, amazingly one of the most violent in these scenes. But he stood out in the crew. Da ragazzi, nei campionati regionali giovanili, (anni 70/80) se qualcuno aveva delle doti tecniche di un certo livello, capace di dribbling, finte o giocate di classe, stava gia' sul cazzo agli avversari (ma anche a qualche compagno) ed era gia' nel mirino del mediano o del terzino cattivissimo, perche' il "cattivissimo" doveca essere proprio la carattetistica principale; in 90 minuti su campi di terra e MAI d'erba, le fratture erano roba abbastanza normale purtroppo, ma questo gioco era ancora molto maschile e ci piaceva cosi'. Ed e' per questo che ribadisco: gente come Rivelino poi, Zico ma soprattutto Maradona sono dei mostri per aver dimostrato ugualmente tanta grandezza.
