It's such a pity that break machine never at all get played on any say 'oldies ' radio network because they were well untruly awesome. I think they were the pioneers of break dancing...knowing how to spin on your arses was pure skill They sure knew how to 'Arse about!' If you know what I mean 😅😅

I love bboying from 80's, here was a style, all levels of dancing, high-medium-medium'low-low. Not only acrobatic! and that was fantastic. Top rock!
@afflulifestyle17842 жыл бұрын
We did a lot of things back then. I started bboying in 1982 as a first generation bboy in the Uk & carried on for 34 years. Bboying was so big back then you'd of thought aliens invaded earth, it was incredible. The practise sessions were legendary, we're talking about 8hr + a day sessions. So many stories can be told from back then, it was an amazing unmatched era in bboying in its rarest form. Mad love & respect to Break Machine, they inspired many of us young bboys.

No joke , i had this record when i was 6 years old and it probably got lost or broken after a couple of weeks (yeah i was that young - records were toys etc ) and ya know what ive always remembered a song that had "lets have a breakdance party...." and i knew a vague memory of the record cover 7" but not enough to remember the words on it. As you would expect from some one whos whole life ended up revolving around music and being a club Dj since i was 17 years later. I even sang that "lets have a break dance party..." to a friend once or twice but as we live in England and this must have been around 1985 1986 i think ... that beat street , Rocksteady , Get ya cardboard sheet on the ground and lets all try boddy popping until we end up breaking our wrist Era was a big thing and nobody knew even the slightest clue of what song i was trying to rememberproperly and every one kind of thought its probably Something off Beatstreet or a Music Video that im remembering wrong because i was so young. After collecting over 200 thousand tracks over 20+ years Dj'ing sampling n making bits n bobs and meeting so many people i even doubted it myself as theres no way i wouldnt have even heard even one little peek of anything like it in after all this time !? Surely that would be impossible , ive literally got flowapellas and hip hoouse tracks and vocals n samples that never even came out the studio from 89 that im not ev en supposed to know about lol . i am literally a Music crate diggin sample Hoarder that never gives up till ive found one 17 years later 🤣🤣🤣 nope!! :D I JUST GOT A SHOCK SCROLLING DOWN AND SEEING THAT RECORD COVER WITH BREAK MACHINE ON IT , LIKE I HAD SPOTTED SOME KIND OF MYTH THAT REALLY DOES EXIST LMAO --- OH MY GOD , I PROMISE YOU I HAVE JUST HEARD THIS AFTER NOT EVEN HEARING ITS NAME OR 1 BEAT FOR AROUND 36 YEARS 🤩🤩🤩🤩 AND THE WHISTLE AND THE WORDS JUST POPPED BACK IN MY HEAD AND I STILL LOVE IT HAHA..... I KNEW IT WAS REAL --- BOOOOM . NOW EVERYONES GONNA HAVE TO PUT UP WITH ME SHOWING THEM HOW TO BOOGALOO SHRIMP IN THEIR FRONT ROOM MAKING THEM HAVE A BREAK DANCE PARTY IF THEY LIKE IT OR NOT, BECAUSE IVE WAITED 35 YEARS FOR THIS 🤣🤣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 it feels so odd hearing it as cant remember much from that age really like in details as no one does at 5 years old - this is now a vivid memory and god know how i remembered the words just out of thin air but its made me Buzz like its 1985 again lmao --- Thx for posting this I LOVE IT - what a tune ... Much LUV

You know what was great about breakin' in the 80s? Everybody had some sort of inexplicable magical power. They got dudes in here jumping through windows and stealin' shit at the speed of light. They got some cold fusion shit goin on every time they start pop lockin'. People start crawling out of the walls n' sewers n' shit. Now-a-days when people start breakin' nothin' happens. People don't join in, laws of physics aren't broken....nothin'
