YES! Fiona Lali is basically my hero, for doing something I don’t think I could ever do so calmly and clearly even without the cameras, despite me being probably twice her age! It was great to watch the utter humiliation of Suella Braverman; both when she visited the university encampments and was flat out ignored and given the silent treatment, and when she was being so expertly yet offhandedly skewered in the studio by Fiona Lali 😂

WWII nerd here who has to nerd out for a sec: yes Stalin did sign a pact with Hitler, but so did basically all of the countries of Europe at some point in time in the 30s, it's called appeasement. The UK was first with the Anglo-German Naval Agreement in 1935, France/UK together at Munich in '38, and finally the USSR in 1939. Prior to signing the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact the USSR had tried for years tried to form an anti-fascist block, but the French and British govts still wanted to use the Nazis/Fascists against the communists, so didn't want to make an agreement. In the end, Stalin (who of course was also guilty of heinous crimes and not exactly a "good" actor) made the agreement b/c he was hoping to use the time to rearm, and expected the nazis and British/French to get into a WWI style conflict on the western front and essentially let them do the USSR's fighting for it. Everyone, including the Nazis, were surprised they won so quickly in the 1940 invasion of France. Also this sister has way more grace and intelligence than both of those asshats could ever dream of, how are they not embarrassed of themselves?

@@ayanleman Imagine if our main foe was kids age 15-19... Just imagine how easily we would win arguments. If all we did was go to campuses and talk to 18 year old conservative kids.. Conservatives don't need to imagine that. They were handed this reality to them because they're people who truly hate kids. They hate their own kids generation, they hate their grandkids generation, they just hate young people for whatever reason. And if they send out some 50 year old to bash a teenager, the viewers LOVE THIS, because it's literally like an old geezer getting "revenge" on school kids.. They love this shit. They don't even consider how unfair it is that a 50 year old is on campus prowling for teenagers to own in discussions, then they cut out whatever kids win and post all the kids who fail at debating an old goofball. I send them my thoughts and prayers. Maybe they'll stop preying on children at some point. Doubt it.

A bit of context. This was her 2nd TV appearance. The first one came against Suella Braverman who is a fired Tory (UK's 🐘) party official. SB went to a college pro-Palestinian encampment with a camera crew trying to solicit ignorant remarks.. looking for some gotcha moments.. the people there literally gave her nothing.. stone face silence.. after that attempt failed, they invited this young lady to the studio to debate SB face to face on the issues. They THOUGHT she would be an easy target and be intimidated.. she ate SB's lunch on live TV. Her appearance was so good she became a folk hero overnight. Now because of her popularity and youth, these two idiots thought they should invite her on and take her down publicly.. You see what happened.. She's unafraid and ready for any challenge.
