I’m not sure if someone mentioned this but Saix’s retaliation attack when you hit his RV when he has one bar(yellow bar) of berserk is the same animation that Sora uses when he grabs the berserker nobody’s claymore and does the RC with that claymore in KH2

Saix is also generally vunerable to Blizzard element attacks, when he charges up his gauge, use an attack of that element to get another opening

Saix is probably my favorite Org. member. The whole concept of his powers is just so awsome to me.

Very good, as usual! A few things to note: 1: The first move Saix does in his actual berserk phase has a pretty interesting opening. If you're right in front of him when he throws the claymores into the ground, you can guard and counter for an opening. 2: When Saix is recharging his berserk gauge at the end of an attack cycle, you can use Blizzard to knock him out of it and create an opening. 3: That attack when you hit Saix's revenge value in his normal attack state? It's Saix using the Berserk/Eclipse/Magna Storm RC from KH2.

The rv value attack absolutely has Saïx telling Sora "how's it feel, asshole? Not fun getting flung in the air, is it?"

With the attack shown at 3:23, there is an opening to attack him in this phase. As Saïx is throwing his Claymores, if Sora is right up against him as he throws them, Sora can block and immediately counter Saïx, which will make Saïx jump to his attack at 4:17 afterwards.

4:25 You can always just airstep to him right after his thrown claymore leaves his hand. The remaining 4 can't turn sharply enough to track you after. His DM can be completely negated with proper management of his health/berserk gauge. Negating his DM seems to keep him in phase 1 too.

His attacks at 2:56 are based on the Eclipse and Magna Storm (the last few hits) reaction commands from KHII. These are reaction commands that can be used against him if Sora picks up one of his claymores and against the Berserker Nobodies.

2 littles thing's - you can punish saix when he go berserk 1, block close to him and counter attack - you can stop the refill of his berserk gauge in berserk 2 with an ice spell ^^

One detail everyone else is pointing out: At certain openings when he berserk charges, using ice magic stops him. Guess Saix just needs to chill out!

I really hate his DM in KH3. I thought it couldn't get worse than KH2 but the timing for dodging all of it is so tricky.

You forgot to mention that one of his attacks is an allusion to the Reaction Command you can use when fighting Berseker Nobodies or Saix from KH2. It's called Eclipse and Magna Storm/Moon. Also tip: Using Freeze against a dazed Saix will halt the Berserk charge.

If I remember if you hit him with blizzard during a certain move when he's open it takes a chunk out of his bezerk bar when it's draining kinda like hitting marluxia with fire insta kills his armor bar. That or that's how blizzard affects him in his bezerk drain as a way to make him "chill out" faster

Saix managed to give my friends nightmares and ptsd so you're not the only one!

It was said already that he is vulnerable to Blizzard magic, but if you use blizzard while he is charging his bar up, his bar will stop charging allowing you an opening.

Not sure if you know this but his second berserk attack, the one where he throws the claymores, is a risk dodge. Just dodge both sets of claymores on the ground and put up a guard.

You missed that you can stop him from charging in his mega berserk mode by casting blizzard on him.

Saïx data fights is a huge contrast from being the easiest fight in KH2 (if you know where you're doing) into the intense and fun (or tedious) fight in KH3, either you love it or hate it I don't mind either way, though I would rather fight him than Xion, nothing it is bad or anything, Even though everyone loves that fight for the story level but I have a hard time trying to see that as they're a few things that Xion gave me a hard time due to the way she works, making me actually don't like it as much as other people do. (And relatively not recommended for people who sucks at the combat)

Thanks to a wonderful commenter by the name of BlueMoonZerc on Bizkit047's first Data Org All Pro Codes RTA video ( kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qryVZ6-Qqp_ZZnk.html ), we have an explanation of some of the inconsistencies of Saix's fight: "You were wondering why Saix was doing different moves whenever he restored his berserk gauge to max the first time. I can tell you, from having been stuck on this pro code boss for hours, that his moves in max berserk mode follow a cycle of the three combo--> the double slam to three combo----> to the clay-more throw (until you get him to low health when he starts doing the different moves). Whatever move he last did before falling into second Berserk bar need to keep in mind as then will follow that cycle. If he lets say does the three combo then enters I guess 'blue berserk' when he refills his berserk gauge to max the next time his first attack will be double slam three hit combo. That's why during your first attempt he did the clay-more throw first because the last move he did before entering blue berserk was two slam three hit combo but then second attempt did the three hit combo first because the last move he did was the clay-more throw."

Saix is the 3rd hardest boss in the game for me only under Master Xehanort and Yozora.(at least for crit mode). I didn’t use a guide for any of the bosses but for Xehanort and Yozora I NEEDED a guide just to beat them😂

I came here to see if there was a more consistent way to get the Risk Dodge off on Saix when he does the double Claymore slam. I see several vids on it, but I can never replicate it: the flames always hit me. Alas, I must leave disappointed.
