First thanks for the mention, an honor; you nailed the order of the marquee games; agree with overall assessment about Illinois’s place among the Dukes, Alabamas, Arizonas .. that they will have to grow into the hopeful team we think they may have, which is good for them; expectations lower, yet hope is higher for this years team. Here’s my horse racing (one word) description of each player next year … Kylan Boswell - *Catalyst*; Ben Humrichous- Dependable; Tomislav Ivisic - Beast; Ty Rogers - *Glue*; Jake Davis - Popular; Morez Johnson - Dominant ; KJ - Engine; Will Riley - Special; Dra-Gibbs - *Energy*; Jason Jakstys - RED; Trey White - ?; Carey Booth - ? The ** before and after the 3 names means I “hope” those are accurate/TBD. At this time my opinion for what it’s worth.

Great non-con schedule! I feel this year’s team might be similar to the 23 team. Win some big games (Texas and UCLA), and lose some games they shouldn’t. I hope they come together as a team by the end of the season, unlike that 23 team.

I’m guessing we probably won’t be favored in the Duke game I have a feeling that the rankings and Vegas will give them the benefit of doubt in any toss up games unless we surpass expectations or they disappoint in the first half of the year

And I’m going to be honest. The footage I’ve seen of Cooper Flagg during the Team USA workouts, he looks like he could be the National player of the year. They could be really good.

The Missouri series is way past tired and nobody really cares about it anymore expect the core fans who grew up around central Illinois. Missouri fans hardly care anymore. Time to replace this with other more relevant games and series. No reason for a single useless game on the schedule forever.
