Facts , i wish this video would get out more because its true . Mgk literally revived a whole other genre . And he never "switched genres" because of eminem . He dropped hotel diablo which was mixed with a whole lot of different vibes including hollywood whore , which ppl consider a tribute to linkin park . Like that album had so many different vibes and genres alone the mans is versatile as fuck . But mgk and i hate to say this , wont get his flowers and respect from alot of ppl until hes dead . I always defend his name to a certain degree besides that one tweet with the 14/15/16 yr olds but as long as he aint touch kids or saying that shit nowadays its in the past i guess. But fr i think he needs more credit and respect than what ppl give him .

The first real jab in the rap battle was thrown by MGK on TechN9ne's "No Reason" track. Em's name wasn't mentioned directly but there was a line dissing Rap God track.

It’s from Eminem’s song “ business” The line is: “Til we grow beards get weird and disappear” Not when our beards grow weird we will stop rapping…From battle rap. Doesn’t even make sense. That’s a reach by mgk fans in response to people saying that line was corny. Wanting him to have more depth than what he does. Would make more sense if he had said em it’s time to disappear that beards getting weird. Not get this man some clippers his beard is weird.

Has not changed or influenced metal/rock in any way whatsoever. Literally lied about how Corey Taylor of Slipknot was involved in one of his tracks. Then slagging him off onstage, the guy’s a joke. His music and attitude are so far removed from the genuine spirit of rock and punk. Who’s he talking about punk attitude, he knows nothing. Attention seeking pop star and not a very good one at that.
