Breakers and Breakers Revenge are basically the same game, so calling this a collection is a bit of a stretch. That being said, the Breakers Collection contains almost perfect ports of the originals that add a suite of modern features, such as a gallery and online with rollback net code.
If you’ve never heard of these games before, they might look like generic 2D fighting games. The Neo Geo’s library is overflowing with excellent fighters so you’d be forgiven for overlooking them. I strongly recommend giving this collection a look though. Breakers and Breakers Revenge are fast, technical and a little bit nuts!

2d fighters were still strong in 96. Sf ex was a hit in the year it was doing “ok” but Arcades were full and Neogeo still kicking until 2000. We were playing one of the best kofs in 1996 too. This “port” is almost 1:1 on sound lol the original had some shitty sounds too. I had to stay in line a few turns before being able to use my coin and play vs the previous winner back in the day, 😋

2D fighters were huge in 96 and arguably wouldn't peak for a few years. It was an incredibly competitive market

Still can't beat Bai-Hu)). The boss music is great. I beat him on emulator, saving game after first round. But on console, i can beat him only one round, but can't do this two times in a row.

I hate the fact there's what looks like an apostrophe in the logo but the game's name is often written _without_ the apostrophe.

@@goukigodI mean the local ranking if there is one and the online ranking if there is one. Leaderboard/ranking in a score-based game is an important matter. If you had written "gameplay" instead of "review" I wouldn't have written anything to you, but a review must tell if a score-based game's ranking is credible. It must say, for example, if in a local ranking there is only one ranking that mixes all the difficulties (horrible/wrong) or if in a world leaderboard only the top 10 positions are displayed (equally wrong). If the ranking/leaderboard of a score-based game isn't credible (local ranking) or provides very little data (world leaderboard), the entire game is ruined and makes almost no sense.
