There is nothing wrong with what she is feeding her son. You dont know her story. My son drinks pediasure every day sometimes two three times a day. He has a heart condition and needs the extra umph the extra calories. He loves cereal and he loves eggs. He sometimes likes pancakes. He sometimes likes potatoes. Maybe she has a hard time getting him to eat what she makes and she needs him to drink the protein shake to compensate. Who are you to judge.
