I'm a 41 year old good ol' boy lifelong Texan. For the past 20 years I've been playing guitar and occasionally writing songs. This is flat out one of the best songs I've heard in a long time. I love storytelling songs and this was a really neat cool story. Great job, I'm going to check out more of your songs, if anyone reading this has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

Awesome Canadian folk song

A couple years ago a childhood friend of mine lost his life while on the job. This song and story always makes me think of him.
