Sid is joined by former legendary Maples Leafs player and teammate of Börje Salming, Darryl Sittler, who recalls Salming's courage on the ice and the legacy he left behind.

I was a kid in those days watching them on tv seen borje salming not backing down from no one he will be missing by everyone borje salming is one of the best defensemen Toronto maple Leafs ever had

I think he knowed the end was near. And yet he made the trip over there. it says a lot about him. He loved Toronto, and this is comming from a swede.

I also saw him once. In his hometown Kiruna in a little grocerie store. It was in 2006 i think.

True Darryl story - I actually beat him in hockey 1 on 1!! Just table top hockey at a cellphone shop for a charity promo, but it was fun. His reflexes were top notch, but I got a lucky bounce to beat him. Class act, just like Borje.

A great hero that I will always respect till I Pass on. He played in an era where physical abuse was allowed. Goons beat on him and hats off to Tiger Williams tried to protect my hero!
