I was allowed to date at 15, but I had a boyfriend I sneaked around with at 14. He was 16. He was a close friend of mine's brother. They had just moved to the suburb next to where I grew up and I met them through one of my cousins. By the time my parents allowed me to date him, we'd been together for almost a year! LOL! 😅 I imagine most kids sneaked around a little bit, especially during the time I was growing up during the late 60's and early 70's.

I really wish that they would stop being negative toward Tamera because she tried to be a good person when she was younger and even now. We are all different and not everyone dated, cheated, lied, or was rebellious growing up. It's sad when you tell people your true experiences and they don't believe you just because they are rare are hard -to-believe. Many people have had similar life experiences as Tamera and it's nice to hear those experiences. We are all human, nobody is perfect. Thank you Tamera for being brave enough to share your life with the world. Please don't change for anyone but your heavenly father.

It's obvious Tamar used to date around, and I honestly don't see a problem with that, but it's annoying how she always tries to make it seem like something is wrong with not having tons of men as part of your history. The only prayer she should say for Tamera is for a healthy baby and delivery cause there's nothing wrong with her dating history.
@carlyb48279 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this comment! I don't know if many viewers notice how incredibly judgemental she is (the faces and shady comments) when the other women's stories fall short of matching her dating numbers.
@gierk279 жыл бұрын
Sally Riposte Exactly. It's obvious that Tamar is actually insecure about her dating history that's why she is always trying to pretend that she's cool with it by putting down the others.
@mdiga5159 жыл бұрын
Slow Clap..... She started dating early and last week she said her body count was more than her too hands and she wish that she could take them back. She acts fast. She's very quick to turn around and judge someone who's body count isn't as extensive. p.s. kids shouldn't date behind parents back and parents should make the child feel like they have to. I feel like Tamar has never learned how to carry herself like a lady with respect because she started early and her parents weren't around to guide her.
@carlyb48279 жыл бұрын

@carlyb48279 жыл бұрын
Please speak for yourself. Not everyone laid it low and spread em wide for all sorts. And being married with a child now doesn't erase one's past. It just sets the person up for being a hypocrite when they want their own children to keep their pants on. lol
@glowingmyway9 жыл бұрын
I can speak for myself, hun. I wasn't fast but I was interested in boys around the same time Tamar was which is completely normal. Having Feelings is normal. When you act on your feelings, or start "smelling yourself" as the old folks would say, thats when it becomes a problem.
@omjess9 жыл бұрын
Sally Riposte I would expect this from any pubescent teenager. You learn about this in school. It's normal. It's not fair to say that just because you made the mistake as a child you are a hypocrite for not wanting you child to make the mistake as well....get all the way outta here. That's insanity. But you're entitled to your opinion
@carlyb48279 жыл бұрын
Jessica Scullark Thank you for your response. My first response to you is I'm definitely not a pubescent teenager, but I wouldn't dismiss someone's comment based on age. That seems rather immature. Secondly, which part of "this" are you referring to as normal? Sex or sleeping with many people? Just curious? Your other point is interesting, because you referred to it as a mistake. Why jump to the conclusion that it's a mistake? It's only a mistake if one feels guilty or did it in error, yet Tamar hasn't elaborated for us to draw that conclusion (and I recognise she doesn't have to). What I find insane is that, according to your comment, you seem to share the same sentiment as the person who posted in that ALL women sleep around, which simply isn't true.

Tamar isn't as fast as you guys think yeah, 15-16 is kinda young, but she wasn't a teen mom at least. She's 38 and had a kid only, what, 1-2 years ago (I don't really know, I know it's no more than 2 years ago). If she was fast, she would've had Logan when she was, like, 16.

Mel 21 Unlike them heffas over on Teen Mom, having kids at 14-16 years old. Like, how do you have a child before you've even gotten your diploma?!
@xiamariansupreme728 жыл бұрын
Mel 21 Sometimes it depends. Like if two adults in their 20s, one being, like, 22 and the other being....I dunno, 29, that's not a big deal, cause they're both adults. But in a situation where, like...a freshman is dating a senior...to me, THAT'S weird. Like, a girl or boy who's about to go to college or university is gonna date a girl or guy who's fresh outta middle school? MIDDLE school! Or in Kylie and Tyga's case, where they've been dating (allegedly) since she was 16 and he was 24.

I wasn't allowed to date in high school. Most of the kids in my community (Indian) weren't either but a lot did what Tamar did and hid it from their parents. I did some wild things back then but lying about boys and dating...nah I couldn't fake a different life in front of my parents while living in their house. So, I relate to Tamera here. I'm not good at not being blunt and honest about who I am, but if I'd flouted those rules and been open about it, it'd have been more parental drama than I wanted tbh.

I noticed everyone said something about Tamar and her boy minded self, but no one dare say a thing about Jeannie Mai having just as much dating experience. You are supposed to date a lot of people. Dating a lot of people, not having sex with a lot of people. Those are different things. This generation just doesn't know how to date anymore like they did back in the day. How do you know the one is the one unless you've experienced a little bit of everything? You haven't begun to live. High school girls with that mentality now is why they 16 with whole little families. 'Forever' when your in high school and middle school is stupid.
@mdiga5159 жыл бұрын
Different. Boy Crazy in h.s. is normal. Jeannies running away with the teacher is crazy but at 14 yrs old, Tamar was a backround singer for Toni at times and did an album w/ her sisters. She could get away with a lot more, meeting older guys and drinking; that's alittle different.
