I can understand why Devin thought the fight was close. After the first round he started winning rounds comfortably and outboxing him up until he got caught. Those knockdowns did too much damage tho. you don't have to give a warning for hitting on the clinch while the ref is separating the fighters. wasn't that flagrant but it's still up to the ref to give a warning or deduct a point. it wasn't immediate. He clearly did it after the ref stepped in

Haney held on for dear life after the knockdowns. it's normal to hold on after you are hurt. too many times and too long is subjective. I guess if you were going for Ryan the holds would seem too long because your perspective is skewed. if you're going for Haney you might think the ref is stopping the clinch too fast because your perspective is skewed. it's perspective and subjection. not agreeing or disagreeing. Neither are in my top 10 favorite fighters son I'm looking from an unbiased perspective.
