No, need someone with some panache, someone kind of flamboyant, like Sinister is in the modern comics. The way Sinister is written in Hickman’s Secret Wars & House of X, or Kieron Gillen’s Uncanny X-Men, Immortal X-Men, and Sins of Sinister, is just incredible, he’s got SO much character, Sinister has been one of the most fun characters at Marvel, in recent times. Mr. Sinister could be really amazing onscreen, with the right casting. I’m sure Affleck could manage something sort of like that, but I don’t think he’s right for it, personally.

@@Abhayabhayam the script doesn't call for a lot of other characters to be present. But it's happening. I've been hearing word of Dr. Doom as a possibility since late 2022. It doesn't make sense for him to be there. But they threw him in. The same can be said about Tyler Mane's Sabertooth. There's a bigger plot going on. In most cases, marvel keeps things under wraps for a month or 2 before certain aspects of scripts and casts can be revealed. But all of this is speculation. We don't know anything until we see trailers. And based on the trailers that have been revealed, there's a possibility that there might be even more going on than we know. Either way, I'm here for it.

I'm old school and loved all the Batman films. Affleck has been the best all around Bats we have been given this far. I thought each actor brought their own uniqueness to the character and his alter ego Bruce Wayne. Keaton did his part without physicality, Bale without personality, West nailed the campiness of the time and Pattinson nailed the youthfulness. Affleck brought it all together from endearing to frightening giving us the most complete Bats on film to date. He got so much hate because he did it so well, that's what happens when you're the best to do it. I like him for the role of Wonder Man or James Hudson in the MCU. LoudLove

I think he’d be AWESOME as DOOM. Afleck plays an incredible “tortured” and menacing character. This may sound weird, but I’d look to his performance in Gone Girl to support his candidacy for DOOM. Tortured, sorrowful, incredibly flawed, rage filled, and charismatic in a sad way.

It would be nice to see both of them working together again. As for what Affleck should play, not sure honestly, though Zi can't see him playing Victor VonDoom, though another hero or villain possibly. Henry Gyriak (pleas for the misspelling), Senator Kelly. But he is a good actor and as long as the writing and directing is good, he can pull it off whatever part he is given.

Fun theory…what if Deadpool is uniting Marvel & DC via cameos like Affleck’s Batman & Cavill’s Superman & a bunch of other variants. All the while James Gunn was the one who set it in motion when he did Suicide Squad.
