It's kind of strange how I've in another video how Nirvana doing this caught on and changed rock vocals enough to make ppl crave the more showy pop vocals like during the early years of 'American idol' but (an opinion of 'the samurai guitarist) ppl got tired of that which led to the more mumblecore stuff of the past several years which imo accommodates for more mellow acoustics and not only b/c 'the current public health scene' pressing for lower production values ;I

This is new to me, basically 2 or 3 years old , and I like it . Rock music that makes you feel something will live forever. That tells you how incredibly talented Ben is and the band is really his own and he ran the show. People don’t realize, before he fired the original members and brought in a new team, he did everything. He was the only one that sang, and wrote all the music. It’s why during their live performances they had to do a vocal track cause Ben can’t do it all on his own. But now with the new band, they have a screamer, and another vocalist to help Ben, so all vocals are live now. Plus the new band writes music too and helps Ben write their new songs. Truly amazing how talented Ben really is and how long he was able to do everything on his own like that.

I relapsed the other day. I had a 3 or 4 day binge of alcohol use, and was drinking pretty heavy, after being clean a good while and feel like this :(... I stayed clean since July 3Ist, 2021 and just had turned 28 a few weeks before July 31st of 2021. I really don't know why I did all that. I just don't understand why I do this to myself. I know, I can't live like this forever, and I'm still young. I hope to stay clean and I'm gonna keep fighting, I'm not gonna give up, I've came too far to give up now... To anyone out their trying to get clean or wanting to get clean and stay clean. Please don't give up. Theirs many of us out their that are addicts, I'm sure but if you want to get clean and stay clean, don't give up. Sometimes I feel like all I can do is take things one day at a time. I've fought this addiction to alcohol, for years now really, and over came a year of pill abuse. And tried meth, and cocaine and other drugs I won't go into. One things always seemed hard for me to fight and stay clean from is Alcohol. Sometimes I wonder if I'll make it. I'm gonna keep going though. I have to keep going, cause "that's ok, we'll give this one more try" as he says in the song.

Bro...yes, you may still be young but as a 50 yo recovered alcoholic I'm here to tell you that you won't be young forever - 10 years and then 20 will get behind you before you can even blink an eye...your entire youth is going to be wasted and eliminated by your addictions...forgive me for saying so but it doesn't sound to me like you're taking this thing seriously enough... Possibly due to your age or possibly due to the fact that you may not have had enough suffering yet...wake up, bro, and put that damn bottle down before it's too late! Much love 🤙

One day at a time, brother! You got this. I got off opiates almost 9 years ago already after being on them for over a decade. I was buying or stealing them whenever I could find them. It is hard. As you said, one day, no, I say one minute at a time. That's how I finally broke the cycle. Just telling myself: if in 5 minutes you want the drug, you can take it. 5 became 10, 10 became 30, etc. You got this but only of you keep trying until the day you don't have to try and it just becomes a part of the future you.

this version is absolutely amazing. the harmonies between the guitars, and the resonance of the hand drum, as xcallxmexmatt pointed out. Then there is Bens vocals...... omfg what an amazing voice, and what beautiful tone control he shows here....Goose bumps and even maybe a little moisture in the eyes, what emotion he brings to his lyrics
