Well I am retired disabled vet and this song is for my battle buddy I am sorry I didn’t see the signs and your pain not just physical last time he called was like good bye but I received a call two weeks later he was gone alone in his place battle buddy you are always in my heart and my family thank you to save my live in war zone we will see some day on hell or heaven but we did our duty to protect our country

I may not know you or your fallen friend or what either of you went through in the war zone, but I'm pretty confident y'all will both meet each other again in Heaven. My father & grandfather were in the service too & if y'all are anything like them I'm confident my statement will reign true. From another vet, thank you BOTH for your service and the balls to defend our flag and country. It's beyond difficult to see the signs of the damage that PTSD and other mental health issues cause. It's not your fault, man, but I definitely understand how you feel. Godspeed soldier!
