At press time, there's not always enough time to formulate an answer that would be best for the team and an individual player in question. If you didn't know now, you know. I'm not a fever fan. CC played her ass off. But in the end, it's about the team. The team is not always going to be as good as its best player. That takes time. Chemistry and gelling as a winning team takes time. Be patient. And do some of you realize a coaching change halfway into the season could be a season killer more than a season recovered. Chill. Sides didn't make 23 turnovers and play horrible defense. What is she supposed to do? Sit all there asses down. A coach is on the bench being patient and confident that the team will correct itself. Thats showing confidence in them.They showed her that in past games. She knows things are not going to always go your way. She's a coach. Respect that. She's human. Respect that more!

Sides cannot bring herself to accept that Caitlin is steadily training the weaknesses out of her game, and especially not this fast. A month ago, Caitlin's defense was indeed a weakness. Now she's got 5 steals and 3 blocks in one game. It simply doesn't compute to Sides: how can ANYONE do this stuff?! It's like she's actually as good as 'her lunatic fans' say she is. Etc. Sides is as in denial as the rest of the WNBA, and it shows in all her decisions.

You are absolutely right. Christy Sides makes these decisions to show that she's a good coach and in control unfortunately it fails most of the time. What a tragedy because this team is capable of beating many of these teams over and over again but with Christy Sides in the way I don't see it happening. It's unfortunate and unfair not only to the team but to the fans as well.
