I chuckled when you couldn't find the right pipe so Solo held an impromptu prayer time. I do that all the time. Can't find my keys? Can't get the garage door open? Stuck in traffic and late for a meeting? Stop, pray for a calm heart, ask God to help, then keep moving forward. You are my kind of people!

My grand baby says her night time prayer. Has a whole list of people to pray for including her tv characters she watches. But what is so cute is when we’re reading it’s not The End, she says amen at the end of books 😂.

As I watched you working out the hose issue - I reminded myself that nothing ever seems to be easy with homesteading, but always worth the effort! So many times, we've looked at things thinking there would be an easy solution, but there wasn't. On a positive note, we've learned so much because things aren't easy. It's not in the smooth moments when we grow, but the harder ones. 🤗 We are so excited to watch the continued expansion of your homestead. Congratulations. ♥♥♥

Yay! Congratulations on FINALLY breaking ground on your home! I know how much you've been looking forward to this. I'm so incredibly happy for you guys. Also, thank you for the clips of Peace trying to overcome the giggles to pray. My 8 year old and I caught the giggles from her and couldn't stop laughing for a while. I found all of the info in this video very interesting, but for some reason, when your husband said, "I got you." You can use a wagon or wheelbarrow to help you carry the gallons of water for your animals so you don't get sore for days 😊 it's just my suggestion. A water well would probably work too 😊

Oh my days... How Peace has come into her own... she had me grinning from ear to ear and filling my heart with Joy 😍 It feels like all of the kids have moved up in their roles in the new house dynamics - and they look like they're loving it. Such great news Belle's loving it there and also Luka loving Japan, it must be lovely for Judah having him there too. Can't wait to see the house progressing! Lovely to see Grandma too. We only keep a few roosters because the hens get very stressed out and they will slow egg production.

SO much happening and yet you get to marvel at how God has grown your family so well, provided such a pretty place for you all and now moving on to a roomier house. You know, when my family of 6 moved into a bigger house I ended up missing the closeness we had when we’re all in a much smaller house. (Gotta tell you, that Tori cracked me up with her call for all arms and legs staying inside the vehicle😂🤣) hope them roosters made it through the night without killing eachother🤦🏼‍♀️

I have to say that of all the big family channels I watch yours is the one that I feel where you are at the helm of your house and your children are not expected to be the ones raising their sibling. If you find you a local feed store to buy your chickens from you can just get hens instead of buying from tractor supply that just sells straight run chickens which means you take chances on what you get

Sarah, that's exactly what we did. We ran probably 400 ft of hose out to our barn for water. We, too, used to have water out there, but we couldn't find the lines to repair them. So until we can dig new lines, we just have about four or five 100 ft hoses hooked up that permanently stay out there. We fill troughs and all the chicken waters from those hoses. It's been a great temporary solution. Much better than carting water. I feel your rooster pain as well. We just got rid of 11 roosters. Thankfully, we found a guy to take them. We process meat birds too and had no desire to process the roosters. Fun times on the farm. lol Blessings!

My husband would only keep 1 Roosters. It's mainly because of the fighting. We only had about fifteen chickens , so not sure if you need more roosters with more chickens. Loving the farm❤

I had to laugh at the leftover bacon... There are only five of us but I totally get it...when is leftover bacon ever a thing?? Lol I'm so happy for you guys on moving forward with the house. I know it's exciting! We had French doors as well and when they needed to be replaced we decided to put a slider in. I don't regret it at all. We also got an oversized one so that we can use it to bring in large pieces of furniture and get the Christmas tree in and out lol

The power of the tongue is Jesus's Mighty gift. Just a couple years ago Sarah was voicing a dream for land and animals. Didn't work that year, your family was happy and healthy. God knows the desires of our hearts and loves when we speak, knowing it's according to His Word.
