@@c.a.greene8395 she got chosen probably against her will and if you denied kim jongun you'll be killed along with your family, even after being chosen and married, her dear husband killed all her friends and acquaintances just so nobody will talk about how she lived her past life, she is powerless, just like everyone there. If you actually watch the video made by yeonmi herself about their first lady, you'll know she's only being used as a facade, to humanize kim jongun, she's literally married to a person who killed people dear to her, maybe by virtue she is well fed etc, but even then you have to understand, what would it convey to the world if she is seen as malnourished and suffering while being married to that dictator? I'm sure everybody there is acting for survival.

Women there have no power. They are there to bear kids, raise them and listen to their men. There are big difference between South Korea and the North, but when it comes to choosing a husband, those with power will choose connections that will give them advantage over love.

With all due respect, what if his wife isn’t just abroad but really starting a new life elsewhere. Could be possible her and her daughter have changed their mind. Just because someone has power doesn’t mean she can’t be changed. It’s just like Stockholm syndrome. People eventually escape , may suffer physiologically, but they do have a breakout that saves them eventually. Doesn’t always happen but it is possible. She needs to do what is within her power to not put people who may tell her things in more danger. Also, some non-human information sources could ‘dry up’ if attention gets put on them. I realize what I’ve just typed doesn’t solve the issue the issue of: “can I totally trust ______ on issues regarding ______.” Just a thought to keep in your bonnet. Exercise discernment, and test and play with ideas in your head without marrying them. Take all the time you need to consider things. If somebody wants to put a stopwatch or an alarm clock on your opinion creation or decision-making, treat that person and the constraints and pressures they’re putting on you with suspicion.

I heard that he is already dead and that the guy we are seeing is his doubles or just pre recorded video. apparently he was poisoned and his wife was in Malta because they tried to kill her too but she is not a wine lover. Also his sister has supposedly lost power too. There was supposedly a silent successful coup and even his girlfriend who had his son, her father has supposedly lost his power. Apparently they are only keeping up this play because the the Kim's have been in power so long and there are people that do actually believe all the god hype about the Kim's and they love them so they are worried the it may trigger a revolution that they will loose.

*She is the biggest fake around!! Why hasn’t she got an Oscar for Best Actress yet?* There are a few extremely professional & extremely convincing acts compared to Ms Park's efforts. Many people are suspicious and think she might be just a pawn, and it happens a lot in America once you gather a huge number of followers on Twitter or KZfaq or whatever… I read her story and seen videos of her talking about her escape from north korea. One day she might be able to keep her stories straight. She has a habit of changing key parts every time she yaps in from of people. Most people tend to remember things like their parents deaths etc… in her stories they always change. At the bottom of the issue is a conflict of interest--she, and other NK defectors, have a financial stake in fabricating or exaggerating their experiences because the conservative market of speakers will pay more for sensational stories. Unless they find a way to crosscheck and verify their own claims, I'm always taking their words with plenty grains of salt. Everyone knows the old saying "You shouldn't Judge a book by it;s cover etc...." True as it may , BUT, Just couldn't help noticing how fake her overall persona/presentation is ......... Her rather expressive tones & tears, ... or she dressed up nicely and dolly/innocent look in that traditonal Korean outfit was rather .... fake / trying tooooo hard perhaps etc.... Yeonmi Park is just spreading propaganda at this point. She's doing it for the views, likes and ad-revenue only. Nowadays on her channel, you see videos that there is a random uprising in North Korea, random coup here, people are angry, etc. But when you search for the sources either there are no sources & evidence regarding her claims or she only has access to same "news sources"/rumours like we do (She's not living in NK anymore). She's repeating content, making false claims too. She's milking it as long as people keep giving her money. Next year she's going to add how they met Kim Jung Un and he helped them escape. A lot of what the West says about North Korea is pure rubbish. US media could claim something completely outrageous like North Koreans execute babies by feeding them to sharks with the only reference being an “anonymous source”, yet people will believe it all uncritically. And Totally much more plausible that the trillion dollars pumped in propaganda in the west are connected to that chick's shady bullshit stories. *Imagine you actually realizing what you've been told has all been fantastic tales!!*

*As a child, did she really see a woman publicly executed for watching a Hollywood movie?* She made the claim that she watched a person executed in public for watching a foreign film. Sometimes she says it is James Bond other times a South Korean film. Other North Korean defectors have said that public executions were stopped several years prior to that date. In a response to Mary Ann Jolley's artcle which exposed her lies & fabrications, *Yeonmi denied that she ever claimed such a story :* *A Response from Yeonmi Park to Mary Ann Jolley's article in Diplomat Dec.2014* ".....I apologize for any misunderstandings. For example, *I never said that I saw executions in Hyesan. My friends’ mother was executed in a small city in central North Korea where my mother still has relatives (which is why I don’t want to name it)."* *But is it true? Did she never say that? Was it a misunderstanding, the so-called language barrier? Or she is just a fabricator and liar (You’ll find that she continues to lie to this day despite being very fluent in English.) ! Let us see :* *When she was nine years old, Park was forced to attend the execution of her classmate’s mother*. Her crime? She had lent a *SOUTH KOREAN* movie to a friend. The townsfolk were gathered in a large *STADIUM* to watch the punishment. *“She got killed in front of us,”* said Park, now 20 years-old. *“I was standing next to her daughter - my whole school had to go.”* (The guardian: 'Watching Titanic made me realise something was wrong in my country,' says North Korean defector,Tue 26 Aug 2014) *When she was nine, she was forced to watch her best friend's mother being executed on the STREET before her eyes.* Her only crime had been she had watched *a James Bond movie* and shared the DVDs with neighbours. "She was a very nice, gentle mother," she said. "But I knew that lady. She was not that bad. She was not going to destroy our country," she said. (In an interview with the Irish Independent,Nicola Anderson : 'Why is the world allowing a holocaust to happen again?' Brave North Korean shares harrowing story of escape, October 17 2014) This was how *the mother of Park’s friend died,* after being caught with a *Disney movie.* While the danger of being caught is still real, the threat of death is now less likely. .(ibtimes.com: Hack North Korea: Silicon Valley Wants To Bring Information To Pariah State, 08/05/14) JENNY BROCKIE: And did you know of people who'd been killed for having bad thoughts about him? YEONMI PARK: Yeah, it's like, one with of my best friends, her mum saw some like *American dramas* or like North Korean dramas and then she got caught and then they decide to like *give her like punishment as like public execution.* *So I went there with her, my friends, and there I"* JENNY BROCKIE: How old were you when that happened? YEONMI PARK: *I was eleven and I was with my friends.* That was her mother and I just, I was like closing my eyes at the time but I could not even cry. ( Insight, Changing a Mindset Transcript - Yeonmi was a guest on Tuesday's episode of Insight on SBS ONE,Host Jenny Brockie , April 8, 2014 ) *NOTE : Here she suddenly jumps from 9 years old to 11 years old!!* *And yet she repeats this lie many times in following years aftar 2014, one example :* "Park does not spare any detail of the atrocities and injustices she endured on her journey to freedom. *After watching her friend’s mother publicly executed....."* (Yeonmi Park recounts her harrowing journey to freedom at an event hosted by Walk Free and Perth USAsia Centre. 18 FEB 2019 ) NOTE : As a bad liar she changes the place of executaion : *street vs. stadium, and the South Korean film vs. James Bond film vs. Disney film vs. American drama!!!* Furthermore , she made up another lie in this regard : *“There were different levels of punishment,” says Park. “If you were caught with a Bollywood or Russian movie you were sent to prison for three years but if it was South Korean or American you were executed.”* (The guardian: 'Watching Titanic made me realise something was wrong in my country,' says North Korean defector,Tue 26 Aug 2014)
