After a bunch of reporting drama, JJ Redick has signed a 4 year deal to become Lakers head coach. It's a difficult job to coach LeBron James but Redick will try to survive in his first NBA coaching job.

The Lakers Org hasn't lost all of it's prestige... yet. You could see that since Kobe's last years the team had no direction. And still doesn't. The Front Office should be ashamed of themselves, Jeanie Buss is a terrible and cheap owner. They should sell the team to Magic, Michael Cooper, Jerry West's family etc, or just someone with common sense 🤦♂️.

As someone who's not from the USA, I'll say this: The whole Lakers situation smells like some inspiring hollywood movie. You hire a guy who has never coached before, you draft a kid whose father is still an active player on the roster (may not happen, but we'll see). Now all we need is to get to the NBA finals and win 4-3 with a buzzer beater from behind a 3pt line. It would be a perfect movie script. These Lakers are trying to shock&awe but I doubt their success. I don't hate JJ, but damn, he could have at least spent few seasons as an assistant coach for any team. It kinda smells like Ted Lasso TV Show - whoever watched it will know what I mean.
