As a veteran of the Vietnam War, I am carefully researching other countries to relocate. So far I have selected the Netherlands, Australia, possibly the South of France. It is a difficult decision. Unfortunately, closing the border does not help. Reports of said that Mayorkas had over 188,000 arrests in one month one time. It doesn’t matter if you close the border or not. People will always find a way in. No buoys, wall, barbed wire, or guards can stop that. Plus, you will never be happy unless all migrant travel into the US is stopped, which is very unlikely because of more illegal measures, Like Coyotes or hiding out in cargo shipments.
