I love Burma, my first visit to Bagan was in 2010, virtually no tourists whatsoever, i spent the day going around the Temples in a horse drawn cart it was awesome and i took a hot air balloon trip over the Temples one morning then had champagne breakfast, so many lovely memories from this wonderful country, cheers, enjoy.

for the people Myanmar I hope things change for them and they get a government who cares about the people not their own wealth and power.. thank you so much Matt and Molly keep up the great work that you two do !

Bagan has amazing colors during the rainy season. The vegetation on the ground and red temple dotted around and drone view is amazing because of the dynamic color contrast.

Yes Pagan is center of dry zone and hot, that's one of reasons thousands years old temples remain until today despite earthquakes . We would advise tourists to go at Winter (Nov-Jan) or if wanna see greenery Pagan, go at Raining season (June-Oct)

The best time (of day) to visit the Bagan temples is early morning and early evening before sun down. The best season (non-tourist season) is during the rainy season (May to end of August) (nearly no tourists, around the time you are there), the best season (also touristy season) in the whole year for visiting Bagan is during the cool season (late October to end of February).
