Bismuth actually does have a practical use, it has similar radiation block capabilities to lead! I make a special putty at my job that’s used to fill small holes in labs and reactors using bismuth.

"Imagine a world where this whole *fucking* room is full of magnesium!" That's one hell of a way to burn down the neighborhood. Magnesium is very flammable, but the worst part is, it is hot enough to "burn" water, converting it into hydrogen and oxygen, two highly flammable gasses. A magnesium fire is extremely hard to put out because of this, and a large amount of it would be near impossible to do anything about other than wait for it all to burn out.

Gallium is only dangerous because it damages the plane, made of aluminum. I'd assume he is not living in an aluminum building, especially not a plane. It's fine to touch, though it will stain. This is like saying, "Water is so dangerous! If you pour it onto pure sodium it'll explode!" Like, yeah, gallium is DANGEROUS if you're on an aluminum structure hurtling through the air, and it won't do you any favors by ingesting it, but it's gonna be fine to have around. Don't treat it like a cigar in a fireworks factory.

Gallium isn’t really dangerous it just makes aluminum weaker, but a lot of planes are made of it which is why it isn’t allowed, outside of planes it’s basically harmless

They really weren't kidding about the bizmoooth prices. I think the 150$ piece you bought was basically a "work of art", as it was poured and crystallised, you could have gotten about 20 pounds worth of the stuff. If I'm ever a streamer, I so badly just wanna be like dougdoug where he goes into a stream with a general plan, and then it goes wild. Like, something small can come up with chat, and he won't just go "ahahaha" funny, he will go "hahaha, and you know what!" And it continues until he's trying to destroy the entire eastern seaboard with magnesium, being unable to say bismuth, and creating gangs in the chat.

I feel like every video of dougdoug is like a movie scene. Something happens and grabs your attention. Then there's more stuff happening over here and over there, making you forget ALL about what was originally going on. and then it goes back on the main topic and surprises you, making this so unforgettable. thank you dougdoug, for teaching me that i am built of ADHD
