@Assemble what is crazy is the fact we getting cm punk to kick off the dlc and the dlc packs last all the way to the fall of this year witch is completely insane.

It’s still hard to believe that someone like Kiana James or Lash Legend aren’t base game or even dlc. Lyra being dlc when she’s the current NXT Women’s Champion is wild too

Just my opinion, but I'd be happier if CM Punk, Jade Cargill, Nia Jax, Carlito, Kairi Sane, Lyra Valkyria & Dragon Lee were DLC Pack 1 to give us a more complete current WWE roster first then worry about the legends and other people.

I'll most likely just get Packs 1 & 4. Respect to the legends but I don't use them in 2k games. I just need Punk, Sane, Cargill, Valkyira & Lee

The third pack could be Mean Gean, Jesse Ventura, Gorilla Monsoon, etc. Unfortunately, it'll probably be the co-host of the Pat Mac show. 😂

This is an incredible DLC list, but to have to wait a full eight months to get it is insane.

I find it weird USA Lex Luger and Mr Perfect are in a DLC batch for WCW when those are WWF gimmicks. I'm happy there's more legends because they're the only reason I buy the games, I really hope there are My Faction cards for alternate attires for DLC down the line.

I think stretching out the DLCs until November might be a mistake. You won't actually have the full game until just a few months before they release 2K25... Very exciting DLCs though

This is a very good dlc this year but I wish that some people like Naomi and Andrade were in the game but I understand since they just came back recently. Also think that Bam Bam Bigelow would have been great for the WCW pack.

would love to see them slide in a free additional talent or two in those off months with Andrade, Authors of Pain, and some of the others they could get from previous games with the models in place.... maybe also some of the new Hall of Famers that are inducted that might not be in game

This DLC is fantastic... I'm really sad to have to wait until November to use that final pack though... that's easily my favorite pack and would have liked to use those wrestlers all year

If I had to guess, I'd day the Pat McAfee pass has Bad News Barett, Corey Graves, and Michael Cole playable, the last of which makes sense since it's 40 years of wrestlemania and Cole is undefeated at Mania. Maybe Byron Saxton and new version of Booker T.

I love that we are getting a legend heavy DLC. Especially with stars that haven't been featured in years....almost 25 years since the Headbangers were last in a game. I was shocked about the Great Muta though....huge W! I wonder if we get a paint or masked model.

I wasn’t expecting The Great Muta to be in the pack! I remember seeing green smoke in the dlc picture, but I didn’t know it was the mist. 🤯

I'd be fine with the last DLC coming out in November if they didn't release a new game every year. By the time the last DLC comes out, you'll only have 3+ months until the next game comes out. Should just do a new DLC first week of April, May, June, July and August. That'll give people ample time to enjoy the dlc content before the new game comes out.

I love the legends aspect! The more Legends the better! Keep the base game with active superstars while the DLC packs focus on past Legends 👏 Also, the different era or promotion DLC packs is the way to go. Best DLC packs in years. Looking forward to each one.

I just hate that the WCW pack doesn't come out until November. Several wrestlers I want for my Universe mode won't be available until it's almost time for the next game. Barely enough time to enjoy.

I can only hope we're getting the ECW tye-dye '98-'99 version of the Dudley Boyz not the WWF/WWE version

Personally, I prefer it when the DLC is mainly NXT/new signings. But this is a pretty awesome selection of legends.

The amount of legends in DLC is incredible. . . I'm hype for DDP! I am excited for DLC 4 pack.

Pretty stoked to see what we get for My Faction for once but once you get used to the final DLC in November, they'll already be on the road for 2k25 in January

My one issue with it is having to wait until September 20 six & a half months after the games release to play as talents like Dragon Lee Carlito Kairi Sane & Jade Cargill. It’s great Punk made it in & is part of DLC pack one. But some of the gaps between packs is mind boggling

7 months away from getting the current women's tag team champion Kairi Sane, NXT womens champion Lyra Valkyria, Nia Jax, and Jade Cargill? That's insane. Then DDP and Mr Perfect 9 months after launch. This wouldnt be acceptable for a live service game that is meant to be played for 4-5 years. I dont know how many people continue to play a yearly game 7-9 months into it, especially when they shut the servers down as the next game approaches. They need to move up the dates on these....

Getting Punk for the first DLC pack is a massive win. Very surprised at that. 2k I think has earned a lot of respect this year for overall surprises

Im most hype that we are finally getting next gen official models for the Dudleys. Just sucks we can never get The Dudleys, The Hardyz, and Edge and Christian in the same game. One or the other is always on a rival show.

I love we're getting ECW right off but having to wait for November for WCW is going to suck

Wow. I'm actually blown away by the DLC reveal. Not only is Punk in the first wave of DLC, but every pack seems absolutely stacked. I love that the DLC is spaced out more. It feels like a compromise to fit in most recent returns/debuts that people would want, while also giving the devs more time to work on the packs. Also, a big plus for Mosh & Thrasher making a comeback in the games!

That WCW pack is amazing.

Its good to see that the game will be supported with patch updates up until November. I would have prefered a bit more NXT, like Kelani, Electra Lopez, Lola Vice, Oba Femi, Lexus King etc. But these look really good.

1 DLC pack has more wrestlers in it than a full season off AEWFF

You know I think and hope that you are correct regarding myFaction. They may in fact utilize that as a way to flesh out the rest of the roster. Maybe some missing main roster characters and nxt wrestlers. And maybe some more legends perhaps? I have never given MF a chance and have despised, but if they implement it in that way, then it would be a smart move. (As long as they are not greedy with the pricing)

I was expecting maybe kairi in the season pass but the fact we’re getting her, jade & punk is absolutely insane in the best ways. I also love that they’re spreading the content out for the whole year instead of it being done by late summer

Kinda wish Pack #3 was titled McAfee Is NXT, and included Pat along with some of the NXT stars that are missing (remaining Meta 4 members, OTM, Lexis King, Oba Femi, Von Wagner and Charlie Dempsey). Also, while AOP and Naomi would be nice, their omission is kinda understandable considering how late they came back. Kinda feels like New Year's is the new cutoff.

I do hope that there's more to the third pack, especially as someone that isn't a mcafee fan lol. Other than that, I like them for the most part. Some names on there I wasn't expecting (I haven't been keeping up as much as I should have), which is a welcome surprise.

I'm glad they didn't shove The Fiend in any of the packs, definitely something I'm excited for... But yeah, definitely feels weird that they're stretching the releases for them all till as far as November, feel like they should add stuff in-between the dates or even just add extra characters to each pack like they did with Uncle Howdy in the last game, especially since the Pat McAfee pack isn't as listed with characters as the rest...

IMO in the Pat McAfee pack the more information coming will be other announcers who got brought in the ring or wrestlers who retired but just to go behind the announcers table. For instance Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler.

I also wonder if they're spreading the DLC packs out is because maybe they're waiting on some stuff for updates perhaps. Maybe to patch certain things into the game and that way they have a little bit of time in between deals sees to do it. And to do it right. Just spit balling.

I agree with you the breaks in between the drops are weird August and October maybe there's some surprise updates coming those months or something..never know and the pat McAfee thing I kinda was thinking maybe they update the commentary teams with that pack maybe that's what they meant by co host..idk just dreaming probably but with what we have seen so far you never know I guess.

I love everything included punk is my favorite wrestler of all time so I'm glad he's in the first pack but I am disappointed I have to wait till September for alot of people because I'm a student and I'll be a month into my junior year so I can't enjoy it like I would be able to last but all dlc packs are awesome and I hope my faction gives us those models

The DLC is awesome, but I’ll probably have a few of the later dlc as community creations way before they release, just because I like to play universe and don’t wanna wait 8-9 months to fill out a roster.

It might not happen but it would be cool that myfaction had models for certain nxt stars that have been on tv around 2023 like jakara, lash legend, lola vice, elektra, oba femi, kiana james, sol ruca, just to name a few.

Once the entire roster is in, this might go down as my favorite overall roster in recent memory. And yeah it’s a bit of a bummer to wait so long for it to be done but for me personally other than Jade and Lyra I won’t be waiting *that* long for anyone that’s crucial to my plans for universe mode. And if it’s true we can buy myfaction models/attires? All the better, it’ll save me a slot on my CC downloading alternate attires.

I'm super stoked we're getting Diamond Dallas Page in one of those packs. Diamond Dallas Page was my favorite wrestler from the WCW days. I miss WCW

@Assemble Random Off-topic Question (kinda) What do you think of the ramp camera in Rumble with the wrestlers just appearing out of thin air.. I think they could have atleast made them walk out if not have them actually do the entrances.. them just spawning out of thin air looks weird!

just like we can create referees we should be able to create commentators. yeah cant get the voice but itll be cool to create Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler at the announcer table for the Attitude era immersion

I think the 3rd DLC Pack will include the wrestlemania 40 stuff that they announced would come post launch.

I am definitely buying this game, thank you Assemble I found out Mr Perfect was DLC from you first and I am so thrilled. When I saw Lex was going to be in, I thought, maybe one of the showcase matches will be Yokozuna vs lex from Mania 10 and you unlock Mr Perfect, but when I clicked on video just to see the DLC confirmed, I never expected Mr Perfect to be DLC, he was in 2016 and prior to that Curt Hennig in 2k14, but I more or less gave up hoping for him to be DLC in recent iterations...every year I punish myself wishing for him to make it, 20, 22, 23 not there, not since 2k19 and now at long last..yes it'll be November but I am so excited. Now you say due to him being in wcw pack that it'll be a wcw version, I sort of agree but I think they would have said CURT HENNIG if this was so, I think it will be Mr Perfect WWF wwe, but even if it IS Wcw I will take it..anyway what's awesome too, is we can play the Mania match from 10, Lex and yokozuna are in Mania 10 arena is there and Mr Perfect as guest referee is possible. But thank you Matt for all your coverage. I know I am far from alone on being hyped Perfect is making a return. my all time favourite wrestler. I hope we all get a hugely enjoyable game and I am confident we will. Mr Perfect for me was a deal breaker.

Also Pat’s pack will be his cohosts from his daily show. Cole pretty much confirmed it on Raw tonight. Totally feels like one of those things Pat might have negotiated when he came back to WWE. For reference he isn’t in the madden ultimate team mode because he doesn’t like the NFL players association and he doesn’t like EA’s rating system.

one question i have so like last year with the run in payback lets say you in match roman vs cody and solo sikoa comes out but he isnt wearing the custom attire you got equipped for him he comes out in his normal game attire is that fixed this year were the superstars will come out in they custom attire you have for them? Cus that one issue would sometimes just ruin the game for me 💯

Love the packs but it's so frustrating not being able to add them into GM Mode. Had to wait last year until Bray DLC came out before I started GM Mode as I wanted him in it

I think they are trying to push the DLC out further mainly to allow for players to get most of the experience for as long as possible out of this year's game because they are planning to go Next-gen only for here on out and i surely hope I'm right cause if this turns out as good as it seems that only leaves litte room for a few improvements and i can't imagine what they could do if they were all Next-gen

Matt, you brought up a good point if some of these legends that we may never see in these 2K games due to a lot of WWE either not wanting to include them or not getting their permission to include them in the games officially! The Devs do tremendous work, and we truly, truly appreciate their endless efforts!! Come on, though still not giving these legends the rest they deserve.... Seriously, I don't know what it would take to add more WCW, ECW, NWA Wrestlers, men, and women!! To be added to these games, it's awful... 😢

If I had to guess when it comes to the McAfee pack....I believe we will see the pack pushed heavy on Pat's show and likely while they are on espn. Wouldnt be surprised if Pat or ESPN are paying for the pack to be done. It could make a nice promotional I expect the group with be his producer Z, his two sidekicks he calls the Toxic Table and AJ Hawk. (Which would be a cool addition by himself.) I also think that now that 2k has full grasp on the development of the game....the space of dlc is more like a trial run to get info on what they can and cannot do for the past game while they are developing the new game too. Spacing out gives them more time and less stress to finish with fewer errors and not have to work too fast and stop .

You know, with this much time before the final DLC, i really hope they will give us 2 attires for Luger (All American and Wolfpack), DDP (Spring Stampede 97 (best classic attire and best classic match vs Macho Man) and his late WCW short haired version) and Muta (classic WCW and 1 of his post 2002 demon looks). I can dream, right? And i will include Muta theme in the mix for my menu screens day 1.

I like your take on them maybe adding new superstars via myfaction. I personaly don’t want to play myfaction at all, so I hope I can just buy the added myfaction superstar via a store or something, if I don’t have the option to just download them.

I am looking forward to these more then previous years. It does feel like with many of the legends we are not going to get any more Wrestlemania matches to showcase. I still think 21 matches covering 40 years is not enough. Specifically since we know we will be getting multiple matches from the same shows. So only 15 or so wrestlemanias will be represented
