In all ways, going ahead with the planned birthday party inspite of this tragedy was an insensitive venture. To tender a resignation for being chastised as a way of caution is even worse - smells of arrogance! We need to be CARE-FUL as believers especially as a Christian leader because of our influence. The wise thing to do would have been to resign(if need be) after observing the suspension - it's just 3 months!!!! Accepting the resignation may have just been a sympathy booster for you both, you know! - both from God and men!

Correction, the man was calked not his wife so, ONLY the man resigned! And, what example ishe showing to those that listen to him? The Iluyomade didn’t kill Wiwge. Most of you are fighting for the Wigwes and not for Jesus name that was misrepresented at the after party. Fight for man and disregard God. Wake up.

Loosing three members of your church at once is saddening, but organising inhuman birthday party while the deads are yet to be buried is simply insensitive, irrespective of their status in the church while they are alive. Please let's correct our leaders, when they are wrong and not sit in the fence.

@@bamideleolaniyan6022 I am not sitting on the fence. If they died in Christ they have gone home to be with the Lord. When the new earth comes into being, they will be part of it. To die in Christ is better. One day we will all go to heaven while we await the new earth. The kingdom of God is more important than the death of a Christian who only changed address to be with his maker while he awaits the new earth. Have a blessed week.

CORRECTION: Its not Pastor Adeboye that suspended them. It is RCCG council. You need to stop the pettiness and bitterness. If you don't have facts, and too lazy to research into stories, get out of KZfaq content now
