Lost count of how many 28/29/30 year olds united have signed on massive wages in the last decade who go on to underachieve. Great player in his prime, but when Real Madrid are willing to let you go, maybe they know something that united don’t. Same with Casemiro.

Man utd overspent on transfer fee,player salary for many years,they find it difficult to offload these players on high wages.Varane gave his best years to Real Madrid,by the time Man utd signed him he was a spent force considering premier league,which is a different ball game,the pace and intensity of every match is unlike any other league

Varane was a key part of the side which won 3 consecutive Champions League trophies and also a starter in the side which lifted the World Cup in 2018. Kudos Man United, in a decade, you’ve successfully ruined every wc players /potential wc players you signed to the club. That’s quite an accomplishment, and you’ve managed to con most of your fans; most of whom are in this comment and have turned into CPA’s calculating the clubs finances.
