Hey I will say this. There was a guy I had a big crush on when I was 14yo. I would see him around my city whenever I was catching the bus to my grandparents house. Randomly when I was 20yo coming home from college, I ran into this same guy. It was the beautiful shape of his eyes that would never let me forget him. He literally jogged up to me because he was trying to get my number, mind you he didn’t know who I was. It felt a bit like a Disney movie how everything played out until I became his girlfriend and I found out how much of a jealous and insecure guy he was. Then his gay cousin asked me why was I dating him? And told me that I was too good for him, because both him and his brother beat on their girlfriends. Mind you his brother was actively beating up his girlfriend in the kitchen at breakfast 😵‍💫. Child that relationship was done in less than 2 months and it only lasted that long, because I worked and traveled a few of the weeks during that time frame. Moral of the story: just because you have liked or love that person for a long time doesn’t mean that person will be a good partner or soulmate.
