AG Garland appointed a republican Special Counsel; made him available to Congress for questioning and even provided the transcript of President Biden's interview. The House needs to vote for "Inherent Contempt" of congress, by Garland. This suite will do nothing, and they know it. It will take to long. It goes to DC court, we're no Republican is going to get a fair/imparshel judge. If they have the vote and it passes, it will give them the power to jail Garland with going through Garland. It may stop some of the lawfare, by showing the DOJ that they cannot hide things from congress and the people.

The subpoena is subject to executive privilege, so a court filing is fine, but it will be up to the court to address executive privilege issues (as they have done with Trump who has claimed executive privilege for just about everything).
