How convicted felons live as second class citizens in America because of their felony conviction.
Because people living in America with a felony conviction are reminded everyday of their lives that they are a convicted felon. They are denied good jobs, housing and a host of other important opportunities to be successful after incarceration. But what if there was another way. This talk highlights a solution to this problem Corey Frazier was born and raised in Flint Michigan. At the age of 17, he was charged with 2 counts of open murder, 2 counts of felony firearm, and 1 count of armed robbery, a crime he didn’t commit. He was convicted on all charges and sentenced to 3 life without parole sentences. After spending over 17 years behind bars, Corey successfully won an appeal and was released from prison on October 2nd, 2012, and ever since his release he has been working in the criminal justice reform space and working with at-risk youth. Corey now lives in Atlanta Georgia with his wife and family. He is also the founder of Middle Passage Media LLC and author of Right Glasses, Wrong Prescription: 5 key principles on How to Stay out of Prison.

I knew this brother personally, and he is a Man among men. He is the epitome of “Change” and what The Creator can and will do for you when you first seek Him, believe in yourself, dedicate, apply, and aspire to achieve a mission greater than oneself. Corey is humble, and he loves people and desires to see the human family as a whole in a better condition in which he found them. He is a voice for the voiceless. Great job, love one. Continued success...🫡
