At best Davion Mitchell fills the team’s needs in a backup PG and a perimeter defender. At worst, he is a free agent after the 2024-25 season, so they can let him leave without giving him a qualifying offer. Vezenkov could be a good shooter under Darko, and the 45th pick could be good.

I wouldn't worry about Sasha because I think he'll get the minutes with the Raptors under Drako. He's a REAL underrated pickup. Off the bench with 10+ minutes he should be that player to watch alongside Olynk and GTJ. The Bench Mob is officially back.

@@roblawton9944 raptors needed defence and rebounding that tyler smith and kyle F didnt provide. they worked out tyler smith so they knew what he brought as well. at the end of the day mogbo does everything well except shoot the 3, so i am assuming they will try to teach him shooting. mogbo plays defence, rebounds like a maniac, ball handles and play makes as well and has a high motor.

Really good trade for a bunch of players with a lot of potential and we have the room to develop them. we can either keep them or trade them for 1st rounders if they develop them right. Either way we got alot for just a mcdaniels. which included 2 2nd rounders what a steal!

All the drafts are okay since they will not be contending anytime soon. They have 4 years to improve till this team can be very competitive. Do not expect too much for some years. Just enjoy the journey and do not have high expectations for now. Remember, the team is rebuilding for the future for long-term success since this team is still young. Rebuild takes time.

Point averages per minute played are important. If we want to be a top 4 team in the East we need to squeeze 24 points out of every position per game. That gets us to 120 points average offense. So ask yourself, is Mitchell going to help Quickley get to 24 points per game with any minutes he steals from him? I'd say it is possible but we can find a better backup for Quickly. Especially since this position will need to make up for the Center position which will NOT average 24 points per game. Ujiri is content with Mediocre there I guess.

Such a funny overly optimistic or under-informed take on Davion. Davion Mitchell is 5'11" without shoes and had the worst or 2nd worst defensive rating and plus minus on the Kings last season. He's supposed to be good at defense but he's so undersized he just cannot be that effective I hope Sasha can do well in Toronto cause Mike Brown just didn't give him much of a chance and he wasn't even that bad to be treated like that

Nah it's just a salary dump, it's clearly the Kings are doing this to make space for a move in free agency, most likely for a wing that can replace Harrison Barnes. Mitchell wasn't working out, and they just drafted Devin Carter which is basically a taller version of Davion, with much better offensive upside, and a WAY longer wingspan. On basics it looks like a fleece but not really both of those players were expendable among this Kings roster.
