I think it is important for us as supporters to remember that Parky doesn't just look at on pitch performances by potential transfer targets. He only wants to bring in players that will contribute to the positivity in the dressing room. If a player puts in quality performances on the pitch but is an absolute wanker off of it, he wants nothing to do with them. He would rather have the player who maybe performs slightly worse on the pitch than the other but is immeasurably better in the dressing room and on the training pitch.

I think that's still easy enough now, but as they move up, to many egos to avoid that as easily.

@@ericmilam7776 As we progress, I think that the club will not really go in for bringing that many stars via transfer. Ryan and Rob have always said their goal is to make the club sustainable. The best way to do that is via their own Academy system. This is why they are working so hard to try to build a proper training complex. Players will grow up being taught the Wrexham philosophy and if they become a star and a diva, Wrexham will sell them for a huge profit.

Has anyone else noticed or is it just me, seems as though most score against Wrexham seems to come from the attacking left or our right full back side. Since I only see the game from television it’s hard to see the off the ball movement etc. just seems to me we are weak on the right side defensively?

Totally agree. Last a Saturday watching from behind the goal they were always attacking on the left. Little to no movement on the right.

I would love to get a solid creative midfield, anytime Elliot Lee has a bad or mid game there is not a real sub to help him out. Those are the games that Wrexham tends to lose. Watching from Denton, TX.

Also, a replacement for Tozer too, he is good but unfortunately slowing down with age. Wrexham scores plenty of goals, if they were able to defend better and control the mid field, it would be game over for everybody else including League 1 teams.

I'm with you here. Liam is all over strikers but Wrexham is strongest at that position, weaker at midfield, and weakest in the fullbacks. The old saying "Offense wins games but defense wins championships". I'd be looking for a couple of of League One/Championship calibre additions in anything but striker. We'll find out Parkinson's preferences (and Ryan and Robbie's willingness to lose more money) soon won't we?

Yep let’s trust in Parky, however with all these rumours circulating about new strikers, I’m thinking the reality is he won’t pay over the odds in January and he will throw in a complete swerve ball and sign 2 Defenders from a higher level, who will play more comfortably under pressure and will provide better passes to our current midfield and forwards

Boston here. Way Too much striker speculation for my taste. We score plenty of goals. Bickers & Dalby have shown they can fill in. Lee & Fletcher can too if emergencies come up. Focus on the back line and even the midfield. More than anything, Somehow someway get Arthur signed. Figure a way around the loan, use all our transfer funds and break the bank to keep him.
