Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

I actually don't hate them. I felt sorry for them. Yes, they embezzled, yes, they were idiots, yes they were in deep denial about what they had done. But, they're human and that's what this show and BB are all about: human beings making terrible mistakes trying to do what's in their best interest or the interest of those they love.

What’s so messed up is that Betsy knew what she was doing was wrong, even willing to have her husbands and children’s life ruined, she just didn’t care or want to be wrong. Why would anyone hate the Kettlemans?? Betsy is smart, ambitious and kinda crazy while Craig is a ripped himbo. If they made a mockumentary on the Breaking Bad universe I would love them to be one of the major focus. (There is even a short video of that concept as one of the promos for a season of BCS). They are awful, disgusting criminal people but amazing characters.

I always enjoy really inept criminal characters like the Kettleman's, Daniel Wormald, and William H. Macy's character in Fargo. The BB/BCS creators must be huge Cohen Brothers fans.
