One of the greatest rock bands in our generation. PERIOD

I am proud to say that this song saved a life. A few years back I was going through a very rough time. Husband left me for another woman when a was 18 weeks pregnant. He took everything with him including our car and the money from our shared bank account. I then lost the baby due to stress of getting my life back together. Depression kicked in and I became someone I didnt know. Music became my comfort blanket and this song specifically was on repeat for hours at a time. The lyrics honestly helped me push through it all and refuse to back or accept defeat, because I was not going to let my ex take my life with him. I am proud to say that I am currently engaged to a wonderful man now and am doing so much better. I know the band will never read this, but I'll never forget this song or group.

I'm a death metal guy so I hear screams and growls all the time but it's something about him just slipping that godly growl in that's so effective. It's like all the clean vocals were building up to that ultimate release of emotion. Again it's just something so effective about it I've always loved this damn band mane

my dad used to play breaking benjamin in his truck all the time when i was younger, this song specifically reminds me of my greif, and wanting him to come back, and him not coming back. This is my favourite rock song of all time. Ever since I heard it in 2008 (I believe). I think it's got the best vocals, drums, and guitar of any modern rock song ever. Breaking Benjamin, this is a masterpiece.

I remember hearing this song on the radio for the first time when I was in 6th grade very late at night. I had been constantly picked on at school and the lyrics and emotions in this song inspired me not to give in to the pressure and bullshit from the other little bastards at school who made my life hell.
