Thanks for the Video. i was just struggling with trying to get a couple pages with columns about 20 pages in and it kept making every page columned. this eased my frustration.

Loved the tutorial. When working with tables in MS Word, how do I add the same row to each page of my MS Word document? How do I tell Word to add a bottom line to the bottom row at the end of my table whether it's in the middle of the row or not?

What is the difference between using the Enter key to get a page break verus using the Page Break option ? other than using the Page break option is easier , is there any disadvantage of using the Enter method like formatting issues ?

Fantastic explanation other than the fact that placing cursor before the section break (continuous) and hitting backspace does not remove section break (continuous).

Page Break option is not available after the last citation when using the Endnotes option in MS Word. Do you know if there is a way to create a page break or another page not affected by the Endnotes settings to continue with a different section, such as Appendices or Abbreviation sections?

Hey, I have a problem about the section break for the column. For example if I have a CV (and two column) and have some information on the left column about adress and education and on my right colum I writ about my job experience. If I tap to next page it would not follow the page befor, the left columt jumps to the right on and vice verse. What do I do wrong?

What I was finding confusing is that there's always 1 section but when you click into editing a header or footer before you've added extra sections, they're only labeled as header or footer. After you add extra sections the name of the header(s) and footer(s) in section 1 then get referred to when editing them with their section number.

I have a document that I justified. And in some parts when I add the section break, the document is not justified properly. How can I avoid the section break from ruining the even layout of justified text?

Maybe you can answer why my date will not stay right justified and about 58 or 60 spaces down when I click on line spacing options and do it without hard returns . it will not stay in the on the right side of page No man, no matter how many spaces I command the line spacing option to create so that I have a lot of white space at the top between that my head or or my name and address and all is and the salutation on the left to the person I'm writing.

Thank you. That was very helpful. I do have a problem setting up section breaks. Say There I want to count a page but not have the number visible in either header or footer. For example The title "Chapter I" appears on its own page (I want to count this as Page 1 but not have the page number appear in either the header or footer section), The text for Chapter I appears on the next page (That would be page 2). Page 2 should be visible in either the header of footer section. How do I do this without misplacing my mind? Thank you Helen

How can we print a specific section I restarted the page numbering with every new section break. Later I wanted to print only a certain section from the document, I used custom print and inserted the range of page numbers that I want, it keeps printing the wrong pages. I tried both:same numbers on the pages or the numbers on the lower left corner of the document, both did not work. Thanks for your help.

I want to insert a letterhead into word but i find very difficult. I have 2 letterheads. First Page and a continuation page. I want the first page to remain and then jump to the second page as you continue to type. Please help me out.

Hoping someone can help... I enter section breaks, or even page breaks for that matter, and the 1/2 page of text that is near the end of my section falls to the lower half of the page. I need it to be at the top and blank space below. Right now the page fills from the bottom and not from the top. I have searched and searched and cannot find answers. PLEASE HELP :(

What is sim break and how do I apply them in word document

How about the section break on even and odd page. I never understand, who wants to put section in odd and even pages usually you want the pages to follow sequence, example page 2 has page #, page 3 is missing page # because of this weird odd and even section break. I have created a document with two columns of text. How do I get the text in the first column to continue to the bottom of the page before the text wraps up to the top of the second column? My columns are equal in length which tends to leave unwanted white space at the bottom of the page. I liked your video better that many on this topic.

all well & good, BUT many folks are having to put up with Wordpad [rubbish!] so...how do you create page breaks in a wordpad document, please?? Seems like each document is one page only!? Not as good as Word, methinks!
