That’s not how it works. Dostarlimab has been around for awhile for the treatment of endometrial cancer but it has to go through the process of different phases of trials and testing for colorectal/rectal cancer in order for it to be approved by FDA so that insurance will then approve partial payment of the treatments of the certain cancers approved. Immunotherapy treatments for cancers have been around for years and they all had to go through a trial process to determine the safety and efficacy before being released for use , and I can assure you they weren’t released just because someone on KZfaq demands that it be available “IMMEDIATELY.”

Francis Collins, formally the head of the NIH took great pains to get the point across that the Warp Speed initiative reduced the development and approval of the Covid19 vaccines from a typical 5 to 6 year duration to 9 months! "Over regulation" in the extreme has directly resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. Don't forget, Covid19 has a survival rate of almost 99.9%. Terminal lethal cancers such as TNBC has a 0% survival rate. The trials take YEARS!! Don't give me the ensure "safety" H.S... If was you or a loved one I can assure you, you would change your da@n tune in a heartbeat. And btw, there are a infinitely more than just this "youtuber" with this common sense opinion as you ignorantly claim. ormaly

Millions saved in trail period alone , come on , what a huge breakthrough. So happy for all of those people that just got the news , now you take to the internet to find out you can live a normal life again and not die . This video is so Subtle , But it speaks in such a positive light . This is the beginning of the end of cancer , it’s not a short road , but because of this the light has appeared at the end of the tunnel , the dads moms and baby’s of the world no more toxic treatments , life . I have a young child and I see others with a sick child , the helpless moms and bass at there bed side until they fade away and there tiny sweet voice won’t always surround you , it’s so deep . But it’s real life

Unfortunately it’s not the beginning of the end of cancer, immunotherapies have been around for years for other types of cancers and they are treatments for cancers, it doesn’t stop cancer from initially starting. Immunotherapies can put someone in complete remission but it will not stop the signaling signature that causes our cells to become cancerous in the first place. That’s why people who have had an immunotherapy and were put in remission relapse or develop other cancers.

I would be one of the first to volunteer for this cause..Please widen your trial so you have more data so that this drug can be approved..My daughter has been undergoing treatment after treatment for over 18 months and she can hardly get out of bed..

Chadwick had colon cancer, so this drug wouldn’t have done anything to help. Hopefully though this means future progress in immunotherapies regarding various cancers :)

Dostarlimab aka Jemperli has been around for quite awhile and used for other cancers such as endometrial cancer and is already created and owned by a large pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline, and of course they make money for it. I don’t understand why people make such ignorant comments when it’s obvious they have no clue what they’re talking about.

It’s possible, though it wouldn’t be able to cure all cancers. The nature of the immunotherapy is that it identifies and unmasks “hidden” or unnoticed cancerous cells, so for a lot of solid tumor cancers like osteosarcoma, certain lung cancers, and really any cancer that grows a mass it is promising that future research could reprogram the drugs biochemical makeup to expose and exploit this mechanic in new immunotherapies

From the scientific article I read, it says that it is super effective because of the nature of the tumors that are found within rectal cancer. Blood cancers normally don’t result in tumors, and if they do they are more so a “liquid tumor” or a cluster of loose cells homogenized in one area and are treated easily with the normal chemo regimens. As a leukemia survivor, I’m hopeful that this is the start of great things to come, however because of leukemia and lymphomas unique mutation being within the blood stream, which is a lot more widespread then a localized tumor, it offers a harder task to get a 100% success rate as they’ve seen with this immunotherapy in rectal cancer.

There was a mention of the drug. Why couldn’t you hear Dr. Danish Ali say at the very beginning the comment “they found the immunotherapy DOSTARLIMAB ?” It was very clear, Dostarlimab. Dostarlimab is the name of the immunotherapy drug, aka Jemperli.

The doctor recommends you ask about this new medication option to your oncologist.
