Thank you for allowing all comments as long as they are respectful. I understand that BII doesn’t affect all patients and that the AMA and FDA don’t recognize it yet. This puts practitioners in a very strange place as far as what they can say and talk about with BII. By allowing comments that are respectful, you are really showing that you respect your patience experience, no matter what it may be. Thank you for being that doctor! We need more providers like this allowing and respecting whatever the patients experience.

Congratulations. I hope you feel better! Got mine removed 3 weeks ago. Woke up finally feeling healthy again. Didn’t even use pain meds after surgery because I finally felt so great again. I didn’t even know about BII until a couple weeks after. Hope you had a positive experience too. Best of luck!

I’m extremely scared of what might be happening with my over 33 year old implants ( one ruptured ) especially when I’ve got no help

Hi there! Does the breast create collagen after explant/lift surgery and would that explain hard lumps (but only on one side) 19 weeks post- op?

Did you get fat transfer? If you did the fat causes lumps. But that doesn’t mean Cáncer they’re just lumps.

Lumps may represent fat necrosis which should resolve on its own over time - but check w your Md !

@@DrGouldPlasticSurgery Thank you, I appreciate your reply. The problem I'm having is he's being very vague when it comes to providing information to me. I'm now 7 months post op and he's now saying it could take a year and a half to resolve, or may never resolve. That just doesn't make sense to me.
