Been a while since we had some fast strong beats, so here's a piece performed by the amazing Erhu player 二胡妹 for the adrenaline junkies! This piece strongly reminds me of Thousand Years of Frost which I uploaded a long time ago, both giving me vibes of a carefree wanderer in a Wuxia setting... so fun! Background story of this picture: Another great work of 伊吹鸡腿子 (伊吹五月). This picture is a piece of fandom art of a MMORPG called 剑侠情缘网络版3 (JX3 or Sword 3). The girl in the picture is from 丐帮 (Beggar Gang? I seriously don't know how to translate...) one of the 14 sectors in this pugilistic world. Yes, she is a beggar, but not in the way most people think today. Most of the members in Beggar Gang are orphans or poor people lost their home and family due to war or poverty. The higher members of the Gang took in those poor kids and looked after them as their mentors/teachers, taught them martial art and how to survive in the street. The ones who proved himself or herself to be a good warrior could be assigned tasks as secret watchers/protectors of a neighbourhood/town/region. They stood up for any injustice they saw. The ones less talented would be given tasks such as information gathering and message delivery, which makes sense cause no one really pays attention to beggars so they can blend in easily. The Beggar Gang act as the largest intelligence agency in this ancient pugilistic world. They travel with their wine jar and their bamboo stick (Yeah, the weapon this young lady carrying is not a sword. It's a decorated bamboo stick - you can even see some bamboo leaves around her - used to fight off stray, wild animals, bandits, or army ruffians they came across). The most famous Kungfu move of the Beggar Gang are the Dog-striking Stick Law (with their bamboo stick as weapon) and the eighteen Dragon Conquering Palms (where they use their bare hands to fight). Man or women, they usually have crazy tattoos like yakuzas. They are wild, unruly, free and righteous. A fun fact, the Beggar Gang was a real organisation in ancient China, and a huge one too, not as powerful or well organised of course.

@Ananya Das XF RN_6 Haha cause I've been playing that game since 2013. I played as a Five Posions for the first year and then as a Beggar Gang. And 伊吹五月 is one of the most famous fandom artist of this game. Btw, this channel uses a lot of 伊吹五月's works. I'm guessing TaiGekTou is a big fan too.

I remember I first found this channel in the second year of secondary school, I used it to study, and to write (as it was the trend then) fanfics. When my friends asked me what I listened to I would say 'Beautiful Chinese music' and it was a long-time inside joke within my circle. Now I'm in my second year of university, and I am still listening to it and I know I will be listening to it for a very long time. Every time you upload new songs, or when I listen to your older uploads, I would be reminded of the times back in high school when I would just sit in the study and type up new stories, and the feelings I felt every time my favourite track popped up. This channel has really grown on me, although there has been periods when I would find new songs to listen to, this channel is the place where I would always return to and would be a part of my life for the many many years to come and I hope to see that this channel would still be going strong long way into the future.

The title is actually "Blow out little mountains and rivers". The backstory of this song is about two close friends, JinZhao and FuZhao. Both are mandarin's son so they have been best friends since the early days. Talking about JinZhao, although he grew up and became a mandarin just like his father, but he has the desire to explore the world, to travel wherever he likes, to do whatever he wants, wild and carefree. On the other hand, FuZhao is a young and talented nobleman, a calm mandarin respected by many young people through out the imperial court - quite of a opposite polar to JinZhao. That summer, JinZhao then decided to travel as he has always wanted to, but soon after he realized that no fascinating landscape can ever compare to FuZhao's alluring eyebrows, or he couldn't get enough the thought of drinking wine with FuZhao, and the fact that FuZhao actually changed his name to match up with JinZhao. Suddenly he understood something, so he came back and meet FuZhao, then they had a date at night. FuZhao gave JinZhao a lantern with the landscape of mountains and rivers painted by himself. He then pointed at the lantern and told JinZhao that, from now on, wherever JinZhao wants to get there, he will always be with him, even to the end of the world. JinZhao smiled - he didn't care about those things anymore, because he had found the most gorgeous thing to him, was sitting right in front of him. He then hold the lantern, and blew it out. So that why the title is "Blow out little mountains and rivers". This is actually just a small part of the whole series, the story of summer time. There are three more songs in this series (Of spring, autumn, and winter). Spring: 意中人 (The beloved) Autumn: 云上舟 (The clouds on the boat) Winter: 冬拾 (Picking up in the winter)

@@farnregen Why not? I always thought that White clothes were the sects uniforms. So guest cultivators would also put on those uniforms. Similar to exchange students in schools were uniforms are worn. Also Wei Wuxian in white hits entirely different. I'd say it's even better, but that point is argueable.

All I can imagine with the first view seconds of the song is a graceful women who’s an assassin making her escape after she kills the emperor and makes eye contact with a handsome fellow, seemingly in slow motion, who falls in love with her right before she leaps off the balcony with the silhouette of the full moon framing her until she disappears into the night, never to be seen again. Though the handsome fellow wonders if she was a dream or not.

@Mirai EVR novel is very good but I'll recommend watching the drama especially the 2008 version with Ariel Lin as Huang Rong , Guo Xiang's mom. This song and description fits on her as well. There's not enough representation of Guo Xiang is the novel except for one chapter maybe in the 3rd triology so I'll recommend u either read the novel or watch the drama or do both like me 😂
