Justin, you are such a good guitar teacher. I've sang, drummed, played guitar for roughly 40+ yrs now and your lessons are so well done. Showing 2-3 different methods of how to play the same song depending on your skill level and editing the video to make it seem seamless as you teach it is just fantastic. I'm playing along with you tonight on my Mexican crafted Guild arch back which has no back bracing, so when you tap on the back of it in the arched area, it sounds like a sweet sounding bongo drum. The projection, depth, bass, and volume coming from this acoustic is just unbelievable and hearing for the 1st time, on my sound machine, the Em9 chord made my year. I thought Em7 was my favorite, hahaha. Any acoustic players reading this, do yourself a favor.....buy an arch back acoustic guitar, with no back bracing, dreadnought or jumbo, preferably by Guild, and you will blow away 3K to 5K high end Martin's or Gibson's for 1/4 the price.

I very often play the A chord at the barred version at the fifth fret without the bar, so an open chord. Sounds beautiful. And the A at the beginning of the neck is mostly an Asus4 but then the A7sus4 (if that’s the correct notation) so ringing the fourth string open, sounds just beautiful. I love this song and sing it too. Thank you for adding just that extra flavor I didn’t know.

Justin, you are the man! Thank you so much for those lessons! It's just been a couple days ago that I was with some friends and they played this tune together and I was planning to learn it so I could play along. Justin: "Here is Breathe for you" :D Same exact thing happened with RHCP I could've lied, appreciate it so much! Another thing that I really love about your lessons is that you only get technical if you think it is necessary. Because I've been struggling with getting the rhythm and strumming patterns down and other teachers animate you to count everything out exactly, move your foots etc. -- and that approach was just too abstract and technical for me, I couldn't do it. Now some weeks ago it somehow clicked and it comes naturally now (it ain't perfect for sure but who cares honestly, it is so much fun!). I usually know the songs anyway, so once I got the chords down I can just feel it. I don't know if it is the same word in English but in German we say "Rhythmus- GEFÜHL"... so yeah that's not counting 1,2,3,4 like a clock but actually feeling the song.
