Ngl, this song perfectly encapsulates how 2023 went for me (at least as of writing this comment). I started hiding myself from everyone after witnessing a harsh reality. However, as college resumed for me on August, I just started living life and met some really great friends and professors, and I began to be really grateful to accept reality. I hope others learn that all we gotta do is “breathe,” and we’ll all be able to reach the stars one day! Much grace to Lily for making this beautiful song! 🌸 🩷 🌸

honestly, this is one of my favorite choruses I've ever heard. from the way it starts with a beat of silence before the word 'breathe' after 'all I do is...' (almost as if... you take a breath), to the whole lyrical meaningfulness, from the fact that there is not only one very beautiful melody, but TWO! AT THE SAME TIME. I love them both. you don't know which one you'd like to sing first, the words? the du du du? - to the fact that everything is unfolding with a comforting simplicity. for years I have wondered 'when will I ever hear that beautiful chorus recorded'

Is it wierd that this song made me cry? I adore how Lily composed this song. Listening to it made me realise that I should seek for true companionship. True friends that truly care and appreciate me for who I am. That friend being me ofcourse. I should treat myself more kindly and love myself for who I am. Then and only then can i seek comfort and love.

Until I closely payed attention to the lyrics, I didn't notice the Korean lyrics because of how well they were mixed with the rest of the lyrics, it was extremely well done and an amazing detail.

i've been waiting for this song's release since lily posted a little snippet on twitter in 2021. when i first listened to it, i thought it was such a cute song, but then i heard her sing the lyrics: "i used to write my feelings everyday, now as i get older there's not much to say" and it just made me cry because i resonated with that line so much. i used to be someone who was able to express everything i thought and felt through words and poetry, but then a lot of things happened in my life that i just couldn't find the words to say anymore. so when i heard that line, i thought, "this is exactly how i feel" and ever since then, i've been waiting earnestly for lily to finish this song. i was so excited when she sang it at her concert, and it's such a surprise she and hachubby added korean lyrics to it. i think the korean lyrics adds more character to the song because as someone who speaks multiple languages, sometimes it's hard to completely express a thought in just one language, so by adding in korean she is able to express what she wanted in the song, and that's something i love about this song, because it helps me express myself more by just breathing. thank you lily for this beautiful song

The past week has been so exhausting and life in general in a broader sense, and listening to this now just made me tear up from the pent up emotions. The lyrics really resonate. It doesn't really help and I just feel sad that so many of us feel this way towards life. Despite all the effort and emotions I put into everything, I just feel like it all ends up being pointless. I can't accomplish everything I've ever wanted, and we're getting old, everyone around me is moving on and will one day disappear, pass away. I'm so caught up in the past and what's happened. And the future never really looks better, it's just my fantasies I fill up my head with. Everything is so bleak. And there's nothing I can do to fix it. I used to listen to the old version of this song and hum it to myself. Can't wait to do it with this one now too. But I still have a huge fondness for the raw version and lyrics
