Sara & Brandon’s Big Sur Elopement was a finalist for the Love Stories TV Wedding Film Awards , so I think it’s time I share their magical film with you all-
A day that encapsulated all that Big Sur has to offer.
Seriously though… You’re going to wonder how we got all of this in one day (+ their day before shoot where we set intentions together) and tbh I still feel baffled watching it and seeing all of the elements that were present
The stillness of the trees
The trickle of subtle streams
The marine layer that made it’s presence at the perfect time for their drive up the coast in a vintage convertible
Powerful wind
Soft sunsets
Vibrant Sunsets
Peaceful ocean waves
Birds singing and soaring over the vastness
& The light of the moon
These elements welcomed Sara, Brandon and their closest family and friends to witness their magic and create a day in which everything worked together for good
To celebrate two humans so aligned and in tune with one another.
Side note- I worked on this film while staying at my grandma’s and she got to look over my shoulder every so often while I was editing and I got to explain to her more about my process and what I do. I will forever hold those memories so dear. She helped me decide on the song that played during their vintage drive up the coast, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

Also the intro is a bit more stylistic than I normally do, which was fun to mess around with. I wanted you to be fully immersed in the wind right from the start. It was such a presence on their day, that as the viewer, it was important that you heard and experienced it from the beginning.
