Flashbax no should not be to much of a problem as long as we’re not talking to much out of level, main reason to ensure levelling of machine is not to overfill, as the sump of the cooler will overflow onto the roof eventually causing staining or rust. Yeah ok ... Will see then. Another question, not sure if you can help, but with these wall controller cables... I need to get one but all I can find is a $60 roll from the air con retailer. I can't find anyone else who sells it. As it seems to be simply a 4 core wire, exactly the same connection as the cord that goes from a telephone base to handset (usually curly), I'm just going to make one up. Jaycar sell the wire and connector. Just wondering if you have a better idea or know where I could grab 10m cheaper? Sorry for the long wind, cheers

What I can do is add test lead to my web site and you can grab one from me, I can send one to you this would be cheaper than buying one just need to allow a few days for delivery. Normally only worth about $20 but good value for money if you do your own maintenance as you can see what your unit is doing. Cheers. Only one metre though? I'm guessing I need to take off the evap unit to replace the cord so I can feed it through the bottom plug. At the moment I have the cord connected at the control box and fed right down into the roof but it is cut off short when they in uninstalled it. Which is why joining it to some more 4 core cable to the wall may be easier. Hmm options. Anyway, enough waffling, you have a great website there. Will keep you in mind for future parts. Sorry I am no longer to coolers but sounds like the drain valve is open if there one in the unit or the water level is to high could be from a faulty float.

If I get time over the next day or so I'll do one.

Billy Guzzo what control do you have it is a Breezair it will be the MagIQ touch, try disconnecting the comms cable and reconnecting it.The system may ask for a system reset or just request you to update date and time. If the system is under warranty’s you should contact your dealer or installer. I have had these problems before and is only normally caused from power supply brown outs. Lindsay

Billy Guzzo sorry Billy been a big day just realised you said it was out of warranty then your unit will have the older Breezair controller. If the fan is not operating at all in vent or cool mode then I would suggest you check that the belt has not come off or the control box breaker has tripped. Hi did you end up figuring out why your fan wasnt turning on?

I guess your talking about the float, the float rubber is probably hard or perished so it won’t hold back the water. Also check float itself it may have a hole in it if it’s the older plastic type.
