If you love Breguet you love the brand and appreciate the idiosyncrasies. Having the last gen type XXI, I find it hard to decide on the new military or civilian version. Leaning towards the military with a cleaner and more purpose driven design. It’s its own thing and I love it for its dedication to the adjustable mass balance, high beat rate, high performance escapement, and movement finishing. A complete party on the dial side and the movement side.

Would buy in a hearbeat at 39 or 40mm... but at 42mm and 14mm thick its a hard pass just like the type XXI. Maybe in another 10 or 20 years Breguet design committe will figure out very few people who buy Breguet watches want this size anymore.

Size is wrong, date window is wrong, “Swiss Made” text placement is wrong, the civilian version’s unsigned crown is wrong, and the price is wrong.
