Located in the city centre, the Mitte district is on the right bank of the River Weser. Many centers of interest, such as the old city center, which is surrounded by walls, the Market Square, the Cathedral, and the City Hall, are in this area.
From time to time, fairs and markets are held in the old city center. You can visit the markets set up here on special days such as before New Year's Eve, Halloween and Easter.
There's something for everyone here. While children are having fun on the merry-go-round, adults are enjoying the food.
A few steps ahead of the Bremen musicians, this market is set up in a wide area, right next to the Goland monument, the founder of the city of Bremen.
The blazing woods cook the salmon, on another stand the meat is cooked, on another, desserts are fried in oil.
We come across one of these fairs. We try the fried potatoes mixed with egg with apple sauce. We are trying a dessert similar to the ring dessert. We take a tour around the square to try other flavors later.
