In this video I'm reviewing my Bremont MB3 watch. The Martin Baker 3 is one of Bremont's signature time pieces with some great features including a GMT function and an anti shock movement mount courtesy of their partnership with Martin Baker, the pilot ejector seat manufacturer.

The leather NATO straps getting scratches is pretty common. Luckily you can easily avoid this by removing the spring bars when installing/removing the strap. Thanks for the review, answered a lot of my questions on this piece.

Yeah I hear you. Part of the joy of NATO's for me is not having to use the tool and ping off the spring bars. Generally I'll try to slide the strap through whilst pushing it up against the spring bar to avoid scratches. Which evidently doesn't always work out!

@@myhonesttake7527 The quick release spring bars make this a lot easier. Think I got some from Barton and it makes it a lot easier to go from NATO to two piece bands.

I think the hour hand only being lumed at the tip is function, not form - as a pilot scanning instruments / your watch quickly, you don't want to confuse the minute and hour hand - which is possible if both hands are similar.

I love this on the Nato yeah. I've since put on the brown Bremont leather stitched strap for a change. Looks very neat on that too.

I would have loved to see the GMT action ... is the GMT hand local or home time? That is quite crucial to know .....

what? surely it's up to you, you set home time on one and local on other, choose which.

@@lucaslucas9505 sure, whatever someone prefers. Some people even check the time on their iPhone :-). For me - business traveller - I want a 'travellers GMT' and not an office GMT. Quicksetting the (new) location time while NOT stopping the movement. So quick-setting the regular hour hand.
